CBSE Subject To School's / Institution's Regarding APAAR ID Registration 🔥🔥
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has recently issued a notice regarding the implementation of the APAAR ID (Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry) as the primary identifier for students in affiliated schools. This initiative aligns with the 'One Nation, One Student ID' program under the National Education Policy 2020. The APAAR ID is a unique 12-digit code assigned to each student, facilitating the digital consolidation of their academic records, including degrees, scholarships, and other credits.
The implementation process consists of six steps:
1. Conducting Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs): Schools will arrange PTMs to introduce the APAAR ID, explaining its significance and benefits to parents and students.
2. Consent Form Distribution and Collection: Schools must distribute physical consent forms to parents, who need to sign them to authorize the use of Aadhaar details for generating APAAR IDs.
3. Student Data Verification: School authorities will verify the accuracy of student details, including name, date of birth, and Aadhaar number, on the UDISE+ portal.
4. APAAR ID Generation: Upon verification, the APAAR ID will be generated for each student.
5. Dissemination of APAAR IDs: Schools will provide the generated APAAR IDs to students and parents.
6. Monitoring and Support: CBSE has developed an online system, "APAAR ID Monitoring (AIM)," to monitor APAAR ID creations in affiliated schools. A toll-free helpline number, 1800-889-3511, has also been activated for schools seeking assistance.
