used the end of my phone charger! this helped a lot i didnt realize it was so easy, thank you so much!
A phone charger is a great idea!
Alisa is the best in the cyber world.
Yes, she is!
Just dont live in the usa🤡
You are safer during the day.
No listen to this guy. You just have to live in constant fear of always being attacked and you'll be good
Robin’s point is that you need the same level of vigilance regardless if it is day or night. 👍
@@uberhaxorzskelletor It's not about fear. I don't live in constant fear or a car crash, but I buckle up. I don't live in constant fear of a fire, but I have extinguishers and a plan for the family. I don't live in constant fear of property loss, but I carry insurance. The list could go on and on.
@@kontrarien5721 I understand what you mean but I feel people who talk about self-defense in this way are just fear mongering so they can sell you bs safety devices or classes. I'm not saying you shouldn't be prepared for things but I feel the way people talk about defense is in a binary where there's good guys and bad guys who want to hurt you. Stuff like this doesn't make you more prepared for an attack it just puts you in constant fear and makes you more xenophobic.
@@uberhaxorzskelletor Fair enough and great reply!
This is so helpful! I wish all parents could listen to this
Thank you!
I see you turn off your comments on most of your videos, is that because your view points are not what the mass agrees with? So if someone opposes you do you get upset? Hopefully nobody is being overly disrespectful and rude
Thank you for your comment. The fact is that I am having a hard time keep up with comments across email, social media, and TH-cam. I'm working on a solution. But there are toxic comments everywhere.
@@TheSecureDad I can understand not wanting to see those types of comments and this is your page so you have every right to remove them, but allowing them allows them to see the perspectives of others and how your ideology may be good or terrible. Sometimes we can be to critical of things we don’t have true knowledge and understanding of and we need to see the viewpoint that isn’t our own.
@@daquan1500 I appreciate your comment. But the real issue is that I'm having trouble responding to everyone across all of the platforms.
Tune in next week for the conclusion of “Nightmare at 30,000 Feet”
The he ragdolled her ass all over the plane.
So you slammed her to the floor, cuffed her and carted off to the cops upon arrival.
That’s only because she didn’t fit the description.
Some love using little old ladies for mules...
My kids are finding ways around the Troomi controls to get to sites like TH-cam. Some apps have ads they can use to get to TH-cam or other sites with no controls. It almost defeats the purpose to have some trusted apps allowed when they then use those apps to get to content they shouldn't.
Ed. Thanks for sharing this! I'd like to know more. Email me at info [at] the secure dad dot com.
I like how companies have taken the classic antivirus business model by wanting to be the only one that sells your information
LIES Mendacity They sell it even out of country You own your licensee Because YOU paid for it Government SOLD it to you
Another option regarding suspicious devices is to take a photo of it and reverse image search it or search for any product ID's on it. Those door alarms are a great idea for people who travel. Even at fancy hotels it wouldn't take much effort to talk a janitor or a security guard to let someone into your room. At least everyone should have them set on the interior door from a garage. BLE on IOTs are everywhere now. If you want to go full nerd you can use a nRF52840 dongle to monitor local Bluetooth devices.
To me Lessons Turn into Blessing 😊
I have experienced this for years I didn't know people was that desperate
Thank you! This is straight to the point and informational.
1. Email Troomi, tell them about a fake bug about your phone (for example, random crashing), pretending to be the parent. 2. They will allow you to factory reset the phone. 3. Uninstall the Troomi app, now you've got a regular Samsung phone. 4. (Optional) email the Tor bridges team and tell them you're in Iran or somewhere that censors the Internet, pretending to be an adult. They will send you bridge lines or a QR code with hidden Tor servers that aren't blocked by firewalls. Now you're not only free from firewalls, you're literally on the Dark Web.
Thank you for excellent advice! Grandma needs to know, too!
Glad I can help!
Lost interest fast
Great post on a huge topic to strengthen us fathers in a multitude of ways. It’s definitely time to #becomesavage 💪🦁

If an alarm is offline based is it safe (wireless)
As a web developer, I have absolutely recorded and watched playbacks of people using my websites. For me it has never been about spying on any one person, but rather to understand if there is anything about one of my sites that is confusing or problematic to my customers/users. My goal is never to collect and sell your data, but rather to understand how to make my site easier to use. The take away here is that EVERY time there is a legitimate reason for ANYTHING there is an evil use which can and will be exploited for nefarious purposes by nefarious people. Don't want to be tracked online? Don't use the internet. Pick your poison.
I'm glad that you are not selling your data! I also understand your perspective of trying to optimize your website and user experience. The catch for users is that observing, recording, and analyzing their behavior on a website can make people uncomfortable. Then couple that with profiling customers, logging IP addresses, and cookies and the whole thing feels dystopian. (I'm not saying you do that.) Some site owners are not as honorable as you are. Case in point there is a retail chain that I don't visit anymore because their stores use facial recognition and license plate readers. My money goes elsewhere. I think eventually the average person will wake up to how much their privacy is nonexistent and they'll affect change with their buying power. Or at least that's what I hope. I appreciate you sharing your perspective!
Yeah, Pat, it happened to me.They tried to get a streaming service in my name
What if that piece just spins?
That could mean that the lock is broken.
These scams have become more complex and multilayered (read: hard to detect) with every passing week. Posting this to all of my bootcamp jobseekers. Appreciate the coverage!
Thanks. Let me know if I can help you further in this area.
Your not wrong. My wife and kids both are angry with me as I use Pi-Hole DNS to block all advertisement and inappropriate content from the internet. Nor will I allow cellphone for my kids. Cheer mate, you get it.
Would love for you to add chapters. For instance, great that your guest provides his creds/history but if we want to skip to practical tips etc would be great to jump to it. Cheers and thanks for the info
Thanks for the suggestion! Let me work on that.
CAN WE HAVE AI LAWS YET?
There are some in the works including ones specifically about deepfakes. So let’s hope!
Thanks for having me, Andy! As always, a lot of fun to chat with you.
I had a great time! Thanks for being such a great guest.
You are not turning it off, but just shielding. The battery is still connected. What you can do, instead of carrying three pieces, is simply put over or under the battery a piece of plastic sheet.
What are your thoughts on Pinwheel? Thanks for the information on Troomi!
I’m happy to help and sorry for my late response. I’m not as well educated on Pinwheel I’m afraid.
Valid idea…but of course won’t not save air tags battery power.
Valid point. This is a great solution for more frequent use where taking the battery in and out would cause too much wear and tear on the AirTag.
Soooo thankful
Or just shovebyour finger nail it in (works every time for me XD) I have a bad habit of turning the lock and the closing the bathroom door witch looks me outside
well you see, normal people cut their nails
That's a great solution.
@@Xyxyyxxx hahahahaha cutting your nails more than once every 2 months is cycotic (also I am able to open up those type of doors within 5 days of cutting my nails xd)
A coin will work

An interesting thing about putting a device in a shield like this... esp a phone, is that I would think they would continue to ping a tower for connection and keep retrying, unless there is a retry limit, then the battery may eventually be drained. Also interesting poster... ham/amateur radio?
You make a good point. Right now I am not doing amateur radio... but that soon may change!
I don't know what kind of lantern I have but it's like yours and I do not understand how to get this thing open to change the bulb Rondo screws around and the top part does not turn left or right
I'm sorry you are having an issue with your lantern. It could be that the fixture is so old that the screws are locked in place. Being out in the elements does that sometimes.
Thank you for having us on Andy! All your episodes provide valuable resources for parents.

How can I bundle and sell my data for a profit? Maybe your data too, how can I do that.
You know a self-service data selling site does sound like something that would exist in 2023.

This crisis has been created to bring on the NW0 with the world leader (antichrist!) Soon "a loaf of bread will cost a days wages" (see Revelation 6.6). We are living in the E N D times, the 7year Tribulation with the world leader (Antichrist) is right around the corner, that's GOD'S judgement upon all unbelievers! But there is hope - get saved and be rapture ready: accept JESUS CHRIST as your Lord and Savior today!!! Please study biblical end times prophecy; listen to Dr. Ron Rhodes on end times chronology.
