Interestingly, this Sonic trophy was for Williams, who were sponsored by SEGA, but the best of all time won on merit!

This is great but it is not THE Lap of the Gods. That was done by Greg Murphy at Bathurst in 2003

Senna spoiled Williams party that day. They thought any of their driver could win, so Sega as their sponsor could be happy. But Senna did what he did best. Wrote his legend. 🥲

This is regarded as one of the great wet weather drives & rightly so, however equally as impressive for me is Michael Schumacher's drive at Barcelona 96 in a Ferrari that was running on 9 cylinders & a car that would have stood little chance of scoring points in the dry. Both legends though.
