The Dalit Movement Kwame mentioned to address Indian's caste system and the Untouchables struggle for equality, respect, and elevation is seldom spoken about in relation to Ghandi's shortsightedness on making changes in Hindu society. Americans mostly know about Untouchability by the popular Hollywood movie 'Millionaire Slum Land Lord" which depicts the problem of Untouchability.

I had been trained in Butoh dancing for 11 years - so this dancing to jazz accompaniment is a bit like Butoh dancing - you are doing mainly counter-rhythm moves (moves against the tempo) and moves reacting the jump-swing tempo, that is almost like Butoh dancing also. I knew that your modern dance and yoga training over the years helped you a lot, and when you danced out there, you reminded me of violinist Dorothy Martirano doing it (you resemble something like Dorothy would do!! :) :) :)
