From the City of Archer Commission Meeting on 12/9/2013 Mayor Ogborn addresses the City's official position on the issues of the Human Rights Ordinance and Home Rule.
What happens if you check the meter and no numbers pop up
How deep are residential water mains to the house buried in Florida?
What if there are no numbers showing on the meter?
How do you turn this type off?? I had a pipe Burst
There’s a valve you just gotta find the pipe. It’s right next to it. There’s a shut off same as always with a wrench or, better, shut-off tool.
How do you turn it offf!!!!
It’s 30 you start reading on the hundreds position
How can one shut off the walter valve on this type of water meter in case of an emergency?
My city has the same set up. I called and asked because I have a leaky spigot on the side of my house and needed to repair it. I was told that I need to call them, schedule a technician to come out, and they will shut off my water. Oh, and that each time he came out would be $25 ($25 to turn it off and $25 to turn it back on). I clarified that if I had a pipe burst in my upstairs bathroom and the uncontrolled release was pouring through my ceiling in the middle of the night that I’d need to wait until they opened, hope someone answered (since they didn’t the first couple times I called today) and then schedule a technician to come out in order to stop the flooding or to make repairs? “Yes, sir. Would you like to schedule a technician to come out?” I told her not right now, first I’m going to Lowe’s to grab my own shut off valve so I don’t have to rely on them, and pay, each time I need to make a repair at my own home.
@@bradbraswell2922 oh wow! What a bummer, how frustrating that could be, it really sucks, it's all about money to them while people get screwed when they could make it easier for residents. Wish you good luck in your repair project.
@@nitochi3there’s a shut off next to it
How would you reset the water meter to zero?
