yes, a electric dan pulls much more air at idle then the mechanical

It uses the stock wiring and plugs right in. At the parts store ask for a alternator that came on a 95 E150 van, it should be a 130 amp because those vans had extra electrical components to run.

it drops a tiny bit for a split second, then it returns to normal.

The only thing I had to do was just use some washers for spacers because one exhaust tip was too high.

Same here. Keep in mind though that $1200 most likely includes a full paint prep before the coating. Paint prep is pretty boring and time consuming

never did hookup A/C. I might hook it up for next summer. If you are in florida I would definetly do it. This summer I had a couple weeks at about 100 or more and the truck never got above 220. High speed on this fan drops temps really quick. This fan easily cools better then a stock mechanical fan.

The fan is shrouded. It isnt quite as wide as the radiator on the f150 but it still cools just fine. We had multiple weeks of over 100 degrees this summer and the fan cooled the truck just fine.

Thanks. Low speed is pretty quite, IF the high speed comes on it is a little louder.

low speed on/off 195/190 High speed on/off 205/200 These are factory setting from 94-95 mustang gt which i thought made sense to use for this since they are the same engine.

no problems at all since install, I have not installed a/c connection and honestly havent really felt like i needed it. I havent experinced any issues with the a/c getting heat soaked or anything.

Single stock fan will draw 30 amps. If you have air and power everything upgrade to at least a 100 amp alternator

I never tracked mpg so I can't say. A youtube called "The Minute Masters" did a dyno on his f150 302 where he took the fan off and gained 3-5 hp and 3 ft-lbs all the way through the powerband. I would think it contribute somewhat to better mpg

3/8 fitting, I linked it in the description. The ECT sensor is also 3/8. The dakota digital sensor comes with a adapter to make it fit the 3/8 fitting.

Not as loud as I wanted it to be, Of course thats becuase it still has cats haha. No drone at all. Its very nice on cold starts but quiets up on regular idle. normal driving is pretty mild as well but you can here it nicely when step on it

Brian kraml did you check out my update video? It’s still working for me. Your right it might not last as long as the expensive stuff but I’m going on 4 months and it’s still holding up.

@@caaspal as I applied first coat and let it set for 30 min under heatlamp to cure and after cool down chemical wiped off clean. Did several test on other panels. Thinking I may have a bad batch of chemical

Brian kraml maybe you did. Because when I re opened a bottle I had already used a thin layer had dried clear and hard on the top of the cap.

@@caaspal I did pay attention to the build up around cap and there was none. Other brands I have noticed had hardened crust around them

Brian kraml yeah I mean on the two I bought they both would form a dry build up around the cap once opened.

how long did the Ceramic Coating last, since the only updated you had was 4 months (Just curious I just got it)

@@k.skyl1n3zz I just never got around to updating thats all. I can still see the line of where i maked off the center of the hood. as far as i can se the coating is still there. But it is not really hydrophobic anymore on its own. still looks great though

@@lukebronstein9617 Wow, it looks like it held up very well. (I checked a vid of 9-1500$ ceramic coating range prices comparing the durability tests and this one was the longest lasting one out of those popular high end ceramic coating brands)

Yes the shine is nice. If i would have polished the hood i know it would look better then wax.

I only let it sit for like a minute

well its been a little over a month and i am getting the same results as i did when i first applied it. I am excited to see how it does during the winter.

Its been good so far. I have applied it to two cars already. It makes washing easier and really helps with bird droppings, they dont stick to your paint at all. also looks nice and glossy.
