Our new Provincial, Fr Denis Travers CP, is excited to get into the work of implementing the Chapter, and recorded a video message for the whole province shortly after its conclusion.
Provincial Chapter Day 4

Today marks the completion of our Chapter, and with it comes the final video. We elected our new Provincial, and his Council, we celebrated the jubilarians at dinner last night, and gave a special thank you to our outgoing Provincial, Fr Tom. Today saw the remaining legislation passed from Finance, as well as Leadership & Governance. This brings to a close discussions around this legislation, as we prepare for the election of our new Provincial and Council, as well as the "formal" vote for the finalised legislation.

The Chapter continued today, completing both Mission & Ministry, as well as Community & Formation. We finished the day with Mass celebrated by Fr Denis Travers CP, recognising his 50 years of profession. Here's Brendan explaining some of the details in what was finalised in these two important chapter topics.

The 30th Chapter of the Holy Spirit Province is underway! After Fr Joachim Rego CP officially opened the Chapter, we got right into it, and have nearly made it through the first two topics: Culture & Identity, followed by Mission & Ministry. 100 Years of Holy Spirit Province

This year, we celebrate the 100th birthday of our Holy Spirit Province. To celebrate, we put together a video of the history of our current houses. The places where, for many of us, we first encountered the Passionist charism, and where that same charism is still being spread today.
