Never heard about this movie before, just watched today, The moment she stopped the blade and then vanish from in and out of cell I was like, Okay she 100% is not human

Did you even watch the movie? Nimona has been the target of persecution for a thousand years, and the original reason for this is just that people thought she was scary because she can shapeshift, tried to murder her, then set their own town on fire by accident and blamed it on her. She doesn't owe these soldiers anything, their entire organization literally exists to kill her, and no one until Ballister bothered to even hear her out.

@elnegromatapacos162 the city has built the wall to keep her out. And yet she lingered around. She could have gone literally anywhere. Moved on with her life. The city was not chasing after her. Didn't send expeditions to find her. The city never tried to escalate. And yet she kept coming back.

@ThePlushpaw I do understand the message. But the point is made with a very poor selection of arguments, which makes the movie not very good.

@@9r33ks Fielding an army, producing mass propaganda glorifying persecution and demonizing outsiders, and building doomsday lasers on your outer wall is escalation. And again, Nimona doesn't owe these people jack shit, she shouldn't *have* to move (also on a narrative level nothing really exists outside of the city). Also let's not ignore that the Director assassinated the queen and framed Ballister all in an effort to maintain the aristocracy's control over the city. The political sphere is masterminded by a murderous, delusional tyrant who at the end of the movie is literally willing to destroy the entire city with innocents in it to kill Nimona for no benefit. Nimona literally ends up sacrificing her life to save these people.

The character's actually nonbinary, and she's a great protagonist with a fun personality and a tragic backstory. You have gravely misinterpreted the entire film.

She mention multiple times that everything started when SHE was a little GIRL. Stop placing sexually confused things where there are none.
