Amazing video. Quick question Mojave- male Pastel /ivory- female Pastel/banana/50%dh albino 50%vpi- male Leopard/desert ghost het pied - male Mystic/banana/ het g-stripe- female Spot nose/ het clown -female Pastel/ het albino het vpi- female Pastel/ gravel/ or yellow belly- male Champagne- male Clown- female This is my list and need help trying to figure out which ones to pair and if so should I pick up another gene.
Hey there thanks for watching and I appreciate your comment. I don’t know what you like or projects you are working but in the past it has always been best to be honest when someone asks a question like this. So please don’t get offended, I say this out of respect 1st off you have way too many males should try and keep that ratio around a 1.5 2nd the only male out of that list that I would keep would be the leopard DG het pied 3rd I would sell off all the females accept the Clown and the Spotnose het clown … every other snake in that list i would sell and try to get as much money as possible to reinvest into 1 much stronger breeder size female. Shed testing and keep back the triples and rinse and repeat for next season. In 2-3 years your collection will be stronger and your feed bill will be smaller. Keep your projects focused. Hope that helps. Cheers 💪🏻🔥
@@Mursey_Morphs thank you so much I really do appreciate that, it honestly helps a lot I was actually in the process of selling some of them for that reason. Thanks again love the video keep up the good work.
Great update video bro and awesome collection
Thanks bro 🙏💪🏻
be sure to treat that free rack for mites as a precaution ! :) cool tent build
i use a steam cleaner with dawn water, then permethrin 10 sat for 1-2 weeks spraying every 5-7 days to eliminate any pests when quarantining new tools ^.^ hope it helps!
I appreciate it! Yes I had cleaned that rack twice with chlorhexadine and left it out in my garage for over a month. Thanks for that tip tho! Also, wait until the new tent is setup 💪🏻 hopefully by next weekend.
I just started breeding asf and I was wondering do you mix the babies in the grow out tub
Hey there! Great question - I do mix the babies. That is basically the only time you can mix colonies of ASF, is when they are babies. Good luck with your breeding!
Good evening 😊
Im currently trying this with my girl. She sounds alot more rattly today but im not sure if thats it expelling the goop or its getting worse. Did yours sound worse before it got better?
Ya he got really wet sounding. But slowly slowly got better. Just remember if you get overly concerned always bring them to a vet! Hope everything works out for you! Glad you found my video and I hope it helps 👍🏻
The tubs are too small for those adult females. Just my unsolicited opinion.
Lol. My collection would not fit in a grow tent😂 you would get better feeding responses in bigger tubs. Because ur tubs are on the small side theyre hitting the back ofbthe rodents instead of the head which will eventually lead to more bites
Sorry wasn't meaning to sound critical. U clearly take husbandry seriously and I applaud u for that! Too many ppl don't. Just watched a video of a guy whovhad about 40 tubs just stacked on eachother. Heat pads in between. Spend all this $$ on fancy genes but nothing on husbandry. Smh
No you didn’t offend me at all! For me right now I prefer to stay small until I am ready to grow again. I will definitely max out around 100 snakes in the next 5 years. I aim to be a boutique breeder not a mass producer. But yes 100% husbandry is key to proper care. I appreciate your feedback and support 💪🏻🔥
@@Mursey_Morphs nice. Good luck!
@mrmouse-ol9pw thank you! You too 💪🏻🔥
Pls explain the grow tent. Nvr seen that before

when you referred to Austin, which one were you talking about?
Awesome video and informative 🤙🏽
Thanks buddy 💪🏻🔥
I would get that animal tested for the virus. There is a company is Texas called RAL that performs tests for reasonable prices
living in a tropical country… i have my ri infected bp fully recovered by putting them out in the morning sun for an hour or two… 2-3 times a week
I’ll keep that in my back pocket. That definitely could work in the summer months here in Canada. 👍🏻🔥
Congrats man!! 🙌🏼 let’s go! I need to get on testing some animals over here. Super nice quality chocolate if she isn’t a super. Waiting for the Monsoon test to come out😉 🤣
Thanks buddy! Ya man she really is a nice chocolate! I’m going to take advantage of the shed testing especially for the ones I want to hold back. Don’t want to hold back a pos triple het and find out the hard way that she isn’t! … and the monsoon test will be a great addition! I have a couple sheds waiting too! 🤞🏻👌🏻
Congrats bro 😎 and I think the shed test are awesome
Thanks Patrick! I agree! Shed testing is amazing, definitely accelerating my projects 💪🏻
😊 congratulations. I'm leaning towards yes a super chocolate
That would be a huge bonus! 🔥
@@Mursey_Morphs absolutely 😁
Big Joel, thanks 🙏🏽 for the love 💕 and support 💪🏽!!! GREAT INFO! Austin is definitely a king 🤴 “KEEP GOOD GOING!!!”
Thanks buddy. I appreciate it 🔥💪🏻
Are you not worried about your snakes getting injuries?
No not at all. They eat live rodents in the wild. I usually have a peak at them and make sure the rodent can’t bite back and then close the drawer. If they are in bite range i just hold the rodents mouth away with a pair of tongs. Thanks for the question!🔥
@@Mursey_Morphs i know that whole live feeding stuff and i get... Its just in this video it didn't look like you were paying much attention to it specifically when throwing in the ASFs and closing the tub before a strike... Granted small rodents buts still, sharp teeth 😂
@@PappysPremiumPythons honestly for the most part I’m not worried about it. If I toss in a rodent and don’t hear a snap I’m more worried than if I do hear one. If the rat is hanging out they are more likely to cause damage than one that has been grabbed. Typically when a snake strikes they aim for the face and eyes very rarely do they grab an area leaving the rat to attack. But for the most part - even in my videos you see me open the tub after a strike to make sure the snake is safe. Usually it’s just a quick peak. When larger breeders feed they can’t stand there and watch every strike. A lot of my animals won’t strike until the tub is closed anyways. I appreciate the comments!
@@Mursey_Morphs i appreciate you replying and explaining, by no means am I criticizing what you do brother... Keep up the great work and videos 💪🏼 have a great weekend
No worries. I didn’t take it as criticism at all! This is how we as a community learn and grow. I am by no means a master of the industry! Stay tuned for new content. Thanks again for the support 🔥
I like how you didn't talk down to your son

I'd love to know more about that "tent" looking setup, is it outdoors?
Hi! No the tent is actually in my basement. I made a video in January about my setup as a request from a subscriber. Check out that video to see my setup! Thanks for watching 🔥
Id love to know more about that "tent" looking setup is that outdoors?
I wonder if u Could still do this with eggs in the incubator and if so could u still use the defuser hopefully want have to worry about but be good to know just in case
That is a good question. Technically your eggs box should be sealed. I’m sure it isn’t ideal but in a pinch, I probably would.
Thank you for this. It’s always hard to talk to people and all they say is “take it to the vet” which I understand, but it’s so hard to find a vet that actually knows what they’re doing even if they are an exotic vet. I went to three of them and they gave me an injection to give the snake. They said “place the needle here” “the other vet doesn’t know what they’re talking about, the needle goes here….” The snake didn’t survive :/ So thank you!
Oh I’m sorry for your experience! Thank you for sharing. It is hard to find a good one you can trust.. sometimes tho no matter what you do the animal may not survive. I appreciate you watching and sharing! Just wanted to share my experience as well. Not too many people talk about the tips and tricks - I’m glad this one had a happy ending 🤞🏻
Beautiful snakes 😊 I never knew stress could cause a r.i.
Ya learning experience for me too! Slow and steady! I’m glad I check my animals constantly. 👍🏻
@@Mursey_Morphs oh definitely 😁 you take excellent care of them

Help my granddaughters ball python 4yr old female hasn't eaten in since January
Hey thanks for the comment. This is not medical advice but it is very common for ball python’s to go off food for many months in a row. Especially around breeding seasons. Just keep offering food weekly, make sure your husbandry is on point( heat, humidity, and bedding) and make sure they are well hydrated. I like to give my animals a warm bath with reptile electrolyte soak, occasionally. This helps them remain hydrated. They usually kick back into food when they are ready. Keep an eye on there weight as well. But if you are really worried take them to an exotic animal vet. Hope that helps 👍🏻
Joe- About how often should I ad water in a container like you have your snakes in to keep humidity up? Nice video. New subscriber. NICE SNAKES YOU HAVE.
Hey there! Thanks for the sub! It all depends really on your climate, substrate and the season. In the winter I spray my tubs every 2 days or so to keep it humid but in the summer it might be once a week if that. I always have a humidifier running and it has an automatic setting that I keep at 60%. When a snake is in shed i definitely pay more attention to tub humidity.
I noticed you saying you were breeding a few 2023 females, you breed 1 year old females?
I did? The wouldn’t be possible unless it’s a male. I will have to rewatch. If I did it was definitely a mistake! If you are seeing 2023 on my bin labels - that is either when I bought them (it would say 2023-ACQ…) or if I hatched them it would say 2023-01-…. Thanks for watching!
Caught the replay. Sweet pickups!!! 🔥🔥🔥 hopefully you prove that boy out!! 🤞🏽🤞🏽
Thanks for tuning in buddy 🤞🏻 i appreciate the support 🔥🔥
Great stuff Joe!! Hoping that boy proves out for you!! 🤞🏼
Thanks Sal! I will keep you posted 💯buddy! 🤞🏻
❤ beautiful congratulations 😊 what do you mean by the dinker gene?
Thank you! Dinker is a term used for a possible unknown, undiscovered or possible new gene. They believed the mom to that pied carried a possible new gene and they think she passed it down to this girl. Just something to keep an eye on as I build my project to see if I can identify the gene going forward. Thank you for the continued support!
@@Mursey_Morphs oh that is really cool something exciting to look forward to. You definitely picked up some beautiful ones 😉
