Hi! I suffered a posterior subluxation playing basketball non contact grabbing a rebound. I had initial dull ache pain. Then weakness followed with instability. I have the feeling or apprehension every single day. Its been 4 months of this. Been seeing PT and doing excercises. My PT doesnt think i need surgery because my MR Arthogram came back clean. my shoulder doesn’t feel the same and I have extreme weakness and instability. I don’t know what to do anymore because I feel like the exercises don’t really help.

Recovering from subscapularis tear surgery and labral tear. Along with ac joint reconstruction using hamstring allograft. Currently having issues lifting arm, especially when laying down. I'm getting dyskinetic snapping of the acromion to the clavicle. This happens while trying to lift my arm, especially while lying on back or sides. It happens actively and passively. Although an old video, this was very useful and I could relate to almost everything. I'm a 72yo male who's been active all his life and who now has left MRTC on supra and infra with partial on subscap In 2013 I had supra repair on right, and it's holding up pretty well. I'm not a fan of RTSA surgery, and have been using PT for the past two months. Good to know that 6mos is a target for re-evaluation. I'll see if 90deg abduction in supine helps.

Hi - I just came across your video. I've been recently diagnosed with arthritis in my SC joint (39 year old women). My pain started to on set when I was 32 (manual labour, repetitive movement and lifting - not from trauma injury), and I was over looked for year since my Xrays would come back not showing anything. Honestly, I also felt like I was was being overlooked because I was young and "fit". My pain started getting worse in 2020. The pandemic delayed imaging longer, and I just recently got my CT scan where it showed my arthritis. My questions is, do you know if prolotherapy injections have shown to help? Or would I be looking at cortisone injections only? Any comments you have on injection and the results you've seen. ie. how long the therapy seem to last, would be SO helpful. I'm trying to navigate my way forward

Thanks so much for this video, this is the first video I have found that mentions the pain can be under the fat pad all the way back. That is where my pain is for the last 4 weeks. So the physio initially felt it was more a heel spur. This week an X ray confirmed there is no heel spur. I've been feeling it's a tear. It was a one off event for me from an over stretch climbing in my window. I never had the problem before, been running barefoot with no problems for a few years. For the first 2 weeks I had pain in the night and it was sore all the time even when sitting with no weight on my foot, possibly why physio felt it was a heel spur. Walking has been very very sore, due to the movement of the foot. There was no real escalation on standing in the morning for the first 2 weeks. And standing during the day was OK too. It has changed in the last 2 weeks. I have a little less pain in the night and the first few steps are causing a stabbing sensation now.

Full-Thickness partial width tear of the supraspinatus tendon and low-grade partial-thickness tearing of the infraspinatus tendon. High-Grade partial thickness tear of the upper fibers of the subscapularis tendon with medially subluxed and partially torn long head of the bicep tendon. Teres minor tendon is unremarkable. That is what I was told today. :( Sounds like surgery is unavoidable.

Thank you for your complete understanding of Frozen shoulder. I am absolutely miserable. I have a torn labrum as well as frozen shoulder on my left and a torn labrum and torn rotator cuff on my right. My right arm even with those issues is manageable. But my right i just can't deal with this. Literally does take me to my knees multiple times a day. My husband and daughter have to help me do everything. I am beyond grateful for their support. I'm keeping my shoulder moving best i can but i am drowning in pain and depression at this point. I had the injection and it has not helped me one single bit. I am doing PT and its not helping at this time yet. Its been 6 weeks 2 times a week. I just wanna fish, work and kayak. I can't do any of that right now. I'm under the care of a great orthopedic surgeon and i trust his plan but I am not okay. I am not sure i can deal with this kind of pain for much longer.

It has been 34 months since I broke my fibula, severely tore my deltoid ligaments, and evidently fractured my calcaneal bone. At 57, I have been a runner for 45 years with no prior ankle or leg injuries. I had been doing marathons since age 18 and ultramarathons for ten years. In July 2020, when I had the accident, I had jumped about 3 feet down off a fence post, but landed heel-first on some leaves covering an uneven trail surface. I heard the fibula break with a loud snap. I wore a boot for about 3 weeks after and then was walking and even running by the 4th week. Every time I ran, both sides of my ankle swelled. The doctor diagnosed the fibula and deltoid ligaments with x-rays, but never mentioned the fractured calcaneal bone. For over 2 and a half years, I tried to run distance. Every time, it would hurt more the further I ran. If I ran on consecutive days it hurt worse. I tried running every other day for a while, but one day rest was not good enough. Over time it got worse and worse. By the time I went to see a ortho podiatrist I could not run a mile without swelling and pain. An MRI was ordered. Two weeks later, I had my diagnosis. He said wear a boot for 8 weeks and come back. As I write, it has been 3 weeks. I got rid of the boot after a week and went to a knee scooter because I read it was better to keep the weight off of it. I went to the beach yesterday with my grandson and thought I could stand in the ocean and it would be okay because the water pressure would mean less weight on my heal. This was a mistake. I think after nearly 3 years with a fractured calcaneal bone, maybe it is too late to heal? Any free advice for a 3 year non-healing fractured calcaneal bone on a 57 year old male runner who can't run?

I know this is a long shot. I haven't yet had any lasting improvements, yet have seen a number of physios. Thank you.
