I’m doing this in 2024 the prices for the materials has increased I’m about $150 into it so far. I only have a few more pipes to purchase.
Same here. Just bought everything yesterday. I'm at about $200. Great idea, though! Just saw my chiropractor today, and he said these reverse hypers are a godsend. Can't wait to get it all put together and start using it. 🙏

Thanks for this fanTASTic video+! I got the saw and the will to get them lowback gains...wish me luck! 😆
How the hell is it so difficult for manufacturers to wrap their pea brains around making benches like this as standard?? Amazing work on this. Wish I could pay you to make me one!
Can you tell me the exact fan you used for this? I’m in Texas and need to make this for my garage gym…it’s 109° outside right now! Thanks!
Well thought out, and built. Best I’ve seen yet.
hey man, clever build. especially like how you sleeved the pipes for the swinging joint
Thanks for sharing, I like your design! I'm curious - how has this held up over time? I'm most curious about how the pendulum has done.
Thanks! I honestly don’t know what’s come of it now, but when I had it, I used it frequently. I ended up selling it to someone else in my local community and they later shared something about it in a home gym group I follow on Facebook. So I know they’ve at least gotten some use out of it! The pendulum should hold up just fine, I was only ever worried about the wood rotting where the pendulum hangs, but I added rigid metal strap under it to support that part a little more.
Awesome design!
amazing work !
It looks fantastic

This was my first try at doing any upholstery but it turned out okay. I think you could do it even with minimal tools and experience!
