This was by far my favourite moment in the game. I tapped the button on the terminal, absolute banger of a song started blasting all over the area, filling me with never before experienced kind of excitement and acceleration. Then phantoms started crawling out of every corner. And at that moment i said to myself: "Alright, let's do this John Wick style". Seconds felt like minutes, every shotgun shot to the phantom's face filled my brain with pure dopamine, instincts screaming "kill or be killed". The one of a kind adrenaline rush i think i will never have again, but sure as hell will never forget for a lifetime. The only downside was that it eventually ended, what a bummer.

How this game or soundtrack did not get any awards just blows my mind. I mean the guy who did the doom games did this!

First time I heard this I was making Morgan nod to the beat, then when the beat dropped I slowly turned to my side to see a Phantom standing right there next to me. Blasted it with my shotgun the exact moment the beat picked up again and the rest became my boss theme while I picked off the group of Typhons that appeared from nowhere. God I wish I could play this game for the first time again.

I just played through this part on Hard, and I could've sworn there were way more Phantoms in Normal mode. All I had to fight was one Etheric and one Thermal! That's it! I was prepped with a turret and fully loaded shotgun and everything. It was weirdly easy compared to normal. I did kill the Mimics in the area, so maybe that's it🤷

one of the coolest moments playing videos games was when this song came in while i was in that room it was very surreal

In the game it’s funny how this happens in a difficult battle where I got killed a million times because I just wanted to listen to the song while things were just insisting on murdering me. Respect music, space ghosts!

One of my favourite games ever made and I don't even like Sci-Fi. There was a time Arkane were one of my favourite developers. They let me down by making Deathloop a PS exclusive though and Redfall looks terrible.

What I love about this song in context of the game lore is the performers of this song had no prior musical training, they had alien DNA injected through their eye sockets to instantly learn a skill they did not have. The resulting song is catchy, but at face value the lyrics seem inconsistent and make little sense. Then you realize: the lyrics directly foreshadow the events of the game. The scientists performing were singing about their coming destruction without even realizing it because the experiment was a success and they could make catchy music on a whim.

I know it’s late but we need a modder to make a mod that plays this every time the nightmare finds you

I love how well thought out prey is, half the comments saw the table, half saw the phantoms. Simple show of how many different paths this game has.
