I always have difficulty remembering the notes on bass clef when they are not on a line e.g., noted all the way to the left on piano
I felt the same way as I was learning!
So why do we use EGBDF and FACE if its ABCDEFG?? Edit: NVMM LOL i just got it from watching the second video!!!
It all comes together in music!
Thank you for making this easy!
Thank you for watching!
Very informative Thank you Sir...
Thanks for watching!
This really helped me understand ledger lines since I had a livery little understanding and I have a quiz on it Tuesday and I feel more confident bc of the video
So happy to hear that you got some value out of the video! 🙏🏼
Wow! Thank you very much. I learnt a lot.
I’m happy to hear that, thank you!
HII MR WITRADOO IT'S LIAM G FROM REAGAN
HEY MR WITRADOOOOOOO 😜😜
HIIIIII IM A HUGE FANNN,I GO TO REAGAN😝😝😖
That video was also extremely helpful
I’m glad it was helpful for you!
😂
Thank you for making this so easy to understand and remember! I learned Elvis' Guitar Broke Down Friday to memorize EGBDF
Thanks for watching! That’s a great phrase to help remember EGBDF!
Great lesson. Remember to practice counting out loud; it prevents guessing.
100%!
Or people are just dumbassholes
29 16 is wild
Great teacher thanks
Thank you for watching!
So interestingly enough, I recently asked ChatGPT to explain rhythm like I'm 7 and it explained it in a way that was pretty much identical to beat. Just goes to show that there's lots of misinformation out there!
That’s really intriguing! Thanks for sharing!
You just simplified music theory 🤝🏾 thank you for that
I’m glad I could help!
This is soo helpful tysm!!
Thank you for watching! 🙏🏼
BE VISIBLE
It’s me Xavier Fierro from reagan
My name is Julius your the goat
Your the goat my name is Julius from Reagan
Preach Mr witrado 🗣️🗣️
As a dyslexic I can't read single notes not on the staff. Its ok when they are grouped together but singular . I haven't got a hope in hell🙄
Your videos are so helpful! Thank you so much.🙇🏻
Thank you! I’m glad you’re getting value out of them!
Thank you, this is awesome info! 🙏 One thing that could be useful is a list of local shops and businesses for students want to rent or buy + handle their own maintenance
I love this! Thank you! 🙏🏼
This great teaching, that you!
Thank you!
Thank you simple and helpful
Thank you for watching!
afraid i still didn't get it. hard to think rhythm doesn't still follow the beat or establish its own beat. i'll keep watching to try to get it
It definitely still follows or references the beat. Upbeats only sound like upbeats because of the downbeat.
This is really great. I know full grown adults that confuse the 2. Your explanation made it easy for them to understand the difference
Thank you so much! 🙏🏼
great video!
Thank you for watching!
The tempo can change though out piece can't it?
It definitely can! If it’s a slower tempo or a faster tempo, the beat is still steady relative to that tempo.
Rarely, actually. Almost never in pop music. Though you may shift to double time or half time.
Hey mr witrado, it me Jonah from last year😂😂😂😂😂😂(I’m still doing band
Hey, Jonah! Glad to hear that you’re still in band! 🙏🏼🙏🏼
Here are some Line Note mnemonics I've used with my students (but we mostly use the Fudge one in practice). Every Good Boy Deserves Fudge, Every Girl Buys Designer Fashions, Empty Garbage Before Dad Flips, Every Good Burger Deserves Fries and a couple Spanish ones: Elefantes Gordos Buscan Diez Frutas, and El Gato Bebe Del Florero
These are GREAT!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
Great tutorial, thank you
Thank you for watching!
Thank you so much for explaining it in simpler terms, and showing how they sound.😊
Thank you for watching! 🙏🏼
A great intro to rhythm Joshua 🎶🎶🎶
Thanks for watching!
Very very well explained! Thank you!
Thank you for watching!
i enjoy this, do you have a video on time signatures?
I do! Check my Music Theory playlist! 🙏🏼
Thank you. ❤
Thanks for watching!
OMG!!! Amazing!!! The best video, thank you very very much!!!
Thank you for watching!
Great Video. Is there any way to name the rhythm of a song. E.G the song Cecilia by Simon & Garfunkel might be a Rumba. Or La Isla Bonita by Madonna might be a Fusion or Mas Que Nada by Brazil '66 might be a Bossa Nova. Nowhere can I find, for instance the rhythm style for ABBA's Waterloo. Thank you.
Tomorrow is my music exam thank you so much joshua
Thanks for watching! I’m glad you got some value from the video!
Nice one man 👌Cheers 👍
Thank you for watching!
This has saved my life
Thanks for watching! I’m happy it helped!
Thank you very much! Now I'm trying to understand "pulse". Sometimes people interchange " pulse" with "beat", and end up defining " beat" differently, which is very confusing for me.
Thanks for watching! I suppose pulse and beat can be interchangeable but they are both very different from rhythm!
Hey Joshua, I'm including a link to a piece of music; can you tell me if the beat changes, and if so, how many times? I would love to hear your POV on this. Thank you.
I’d love to help but I don’t see a link!
You explaining too fast
Thanks for watching! I do my best to be as concise as possibly while making sure I teach all the crucial info. Feel free to watch back over certain parts of the video or change the playback speed! 🙏🏼
I feel like I just got a half hour music lesson in 6 minutes thanks!
Thank you for watching! 🙏🏼
This is an interesting video right there. I am from GHANA 🇬🇭 and I would be glad if you can give us clues with some afroneats songs. I am learning song writing online
