Hello and welcome to my channel. This channelis a exploration channel exploring parks, ruins and castles as well as motorcycle videos when i can get a helmet camera. In these videos I will be doing a visitors perspective of what its like to go visit a place of interest. Stick around and come with me on my exploration of the United Kingdom as I visit places which may inspire others to do the same. Bird of Prey Spotted in Witton Country park Blackburn. Looks like a Buzzard or Golden Eagle.
Fairly large bird of prey, tried getting its attention but it didnt care, posed well for pictures though. possibly a buzzard or golden eagle, location Witton Country Park, Blackburn, north west of England near Preston.

Finding new places is awesome when you have no idea which way to go and theres no visible road signs. I think its a pretty awesome helmet, light weight, comfy and has a cool design on it. i think my favourite thing is that i was able to buy a chin mount and actually put my camera on my chin instead of on the side of my head, last helmet was a VCan V272 pretty heavy helmet and it could only mount camera on side of my head which when going faster than 40mph would wrench my head sideways hurting m...

I struggle with mental health issues and past week or two ive been struggling big time. been unable to talk or focus and tried making videos but kept losing focus or got annoyed at myself.
Dave Myers Remembrance Ride 2024

A ride out in honour of Dave Myers who died from cancer on the 28th of February 2024. He was one of the hosts of Hairy bikers working alongside Simon King and his friend Jason 'Woody' Woodcock (everyone just calls him Woody). Si and Woody set up the ride to go from London to Barrow-in-Furness, Dave Myers' hometown which he would frequently visit. originally expected to have between 2000 - 4000 ...

So why didn't you slow down when meeting cyclists coming the other way?
Camera makes roads look narrow, im on a motorcycle, theres literally about 3ft distance between us.
Maybe more, if it was less than 2ft my elbow would clip them.
Also upon further looking at footage, you should take note of the speedometer. Says 40mph, then drops to 25mph when i see cyclists, after i get past them i put power back on. So technically i did slow down, partly because i thought the cyclist was a car, but yeah theres a few feet between us both, theyre in one tyre track and i was in the other tyre track.

Hello to everyone, I'm trying to make a new video to post but been struggling lately due to my learning disabilities and depression making me feel like crap. Im going to be trying to make a new video within next few days, but wont be a long video. I work evening shifts so probably something before the evening shift. Probably round some local roads on way into work.
I did daves day it was amazing over 46 thousand bikers turned out and the whole weekend was fantastic.borrow folk were also amazing .couldnt do enough was there to supoort us bikers through the whole ride thanku to every1 in this amazing place barrow in furness👏👏👏👏👏👏and the organisation from woody was out of tgis world it ran like clock work and no it wasnt thanks to the2 tier policing it was down to woody and all the barrow folk once we arrived👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍👍❤️❤️
He did a awesome job, ill gladly go back again to look at ruins there at some point. Barrow is a brilliant place

No problem thanks for welcoming us. I plan on coming back one day probably sooner rather than later. Someone said "Abbey Ruins" and my ears popped up. I like ruins.
@EUKBIKER Furness Abbey is great and a hidden gem of the town. Probably not an all-day attraction, but the dock museum is worth a visit too.
@@kiemufc15its not just the Abbey i want to look at, i saw the small villages there too which i might check out, either way its a good area and the coast road looks good too.
@EUKBIKER Yeah, if you like ruins, add Peel Island to your list, too. Have to get the boat from Roa island where dave lived. Coast Road is a lovely run out (even though I'm sure I got a speeding ticket yesterday). Walney Island, fantastic beaches and nature reserves, tons to do

Yeah my battery on this camera isnt the best. It only lasts a hour and half. I was amazed it recorded as far as it did lol. But it was a brilliant ride and i do like Barrow-in-Furness enough to say i definitely think ill go back at some point

It was definitely highlight of the year. Only way im beating that now is if i win lottery for £789m which ill buy a house with a garage and 40 motorcycles...
I hope all the drivers who passed spent hrs in a que just down the road. People are all in there own worlds these days. If the road was blocked would they have helped, who knows but I hope they all break down around the corner and theres no good bikers like yourself around to help. As they say what goes around comes around, Good job. Cheers.
Sorry camera moves around so much, was knocked off motorcycle back in 2022 and my right shoulder hurts, my left hand cramps up and i got to keep changing hands.

Ive gone gorilla glue all weather epoxy resign lol. Easier to use and put on. Also dries clear coated.

Yeah its finding a good place to put the microphone. Figured out i can turn audio volume up in editor which is what i did for this video. Put it up to 200% lol
Forgot to say, turned volume up in editor... Couldnt figure out how to turn mic gain up, sorry about wind noise i did have it set to wind noise reduction through camera settings. Turned out better than i thought it would though.

great ride what was the route you took.
Went through Clithroe towards Waddington then down towards Dunsop. Way I normally use when alone is ill go through Blackburn into Ribchester and through the maze of roads that way. So many nice roads out there with loads of amazing locations. Dunsop has a walk through the hills near it and Ribchester has a Roman bath house and Roman museum in it.
Sounds like your van has no suspension. It is certainly picking up all the potholes. Hope youe seat is a comfortable one. Drive safe out there. Cheers
Yeah its a old van. The squeaking noise in the video is the sink in the back, its a day camper but the cabinet for the sink has been falling apart for a while. Im just letting it do its thing so that i dont have to dismantle the cabinet when i want to install my own. When it comes to installing my own. i think im going to have the sink on a sliding rail so that it slides out the back of the van giving more room in the van when used as a camper. Its never really been used as a camper though, it gets a stupidly high range per tank of diesel so we just use it for a long range driver say if we go see family down in Exmouth, it goes down on quarter of a tank, less if you drive economically. We often drive down there, drive around the area for 300 miles, then drive back (210 mile each way) and still have quarter of a tank left. Its the 1.3 multijet turbo diesel engine, for a 1.3 theyre have brilliant torque and can pull up to 2 tons while loaded with 1.5 ton, van itself weighs 2.5 ton.
It was a better day with the wether we all so got fish & chips in settle happy days see you on the next ride out Sean keep up with the good videos.

Aye it was... Until I got drunk and tried dancing on a wall then landed head first on concrete, had everyone look at me like i was dead, got up, dusted off, wiped blood from my eye which was bleeding, then carried on dancing.

Cheers for watching, but yeah I think this year is all about ending up lost... Finding new places and doing new things. Ended up going through Borrowdale on way home, wish I got that on camera. Plus side is I now want to go to a slate mine museum.
Very nice area the lakes, traffic looks a bit busy in places, was it a Bank Holiday weekend. Think they should provide more bike spaces in car parks also, but in that area they charge for every small parking space they can. Thanks for sharing.
Yeah it was the Easter half term, no problem for bike though just fly past like it's nothing. The car park was free for bikes though said in very small print "Free for motorcycles", I always read the signs to see if it's free for bikes or just ask traffic wardens. Met a few traffic wardens who have been very nice and friendly. One when I had a 125cc cruiser just stared me out and said "It's not free parking for bikes, but if you take my photo on it I'll print you a free all day parking ticket if you want", so took his photo and he did actually go to the machine, got a all day ticket, pulled out some cellotape and stuck the all day parking ticket to the fuel tank so no other warden would try telling me off for parking there. So pretty much they're not all bad, some good wardens.

Askaso are pretty good cameras. I find it useful and the video quality is good for the price.
Sometimes it doesn't matter where your riding as you can find some hidden jems. Keep Exploring. CHeers
I think it was a brilliant road. I got some more to upload later including one I already love as I know where it is Cragg Valley area... I just love roads that are unique in how they look, feel and the camera doesn't do them justice. At some point later in the year when weather is warmer I might also go to Bolton Castle out near Aysgarth. There's lots of brilliant places I know of but finding the hidden gems just makes things all that bit more better.

Cheers for the comment, I need to get a new helmet so I can get a chin mount and have camera in a better place on front of helmet so I can give people a better view without a slight lean on camera.
Looks like you had a great day with the wether the video & audio is much better the road you went down are great not fast roads but the views are some of the best the new intro is very cool.
I love the new Intro, I came up with it the other night having a laugh with my brother, said I wanted to have a intro and he said "Just record yourself with godly words showing up", then I said "I'm going to poop out subscribe", the camera itself I'm loving the camera more than I liked the Drift, it may not record as long as it's limited to 1h 30m, but it's so much better for downloading videos as well as finding where I want to record from as all the videos in editor are 8 min long instead of 6 hours long and the quality is just better. Time will tell if the cable fails, but for £2.99 for the microphone, I feel it's already better than drifts microphone at £15... Sure there's not much that can be done for pick up but the camera is definitely worth it. Only 2 issues are pulling over to replace battery after 1h 30m and the mounting making the camera slightly slanted, but the camera slant may be fixed as I might get a new helmet soon as this Vcan though not old is showing signs of issues.

They're not hard to pass, they're fairly quick for something with no engine and a few are alright to talk to.

4K and able to pick up audio. Only thing is I'll have to go to a older helmet. Current helmet doesn't have chin mounts for it. Also currently using a Vcan, might go back to my old white and blue HJC as it's just better.

Tried recording one today via Helmet microphone... The answer to using helmet microphone isss MORE issues... It's like that meme everyone posted before "I don't want peace I want problems, always". Tech issues suck that much im looking at changing camera to a knock off version of the go pro which is better than both the go pro and drift but sold on Amazon, so with prime I should get a discount. Would buy DJI, but I want to give other cameras a go first so not everything on TH-cam is recorded by the same type of camera. I like being awkward...

@@EUKBIKER is yours the on that screws or fitted under the camera I tell you what I went through a few leads I’m getting a bit peed off with the leads I know how about I could scream sometimes perfect video but no sound your get it sorted we all have this problem sometimes 👍🏍️
@@SOLOMOTOUK mine screws into the camera on the bottom. But its always that bit that breaks so i gave up on it... Now i plan on using video editing software and time stamps to line up audio that i intend on recording separately to the video. Literally all my videos recorded recently are unusable because it sounds like a computer screaming down your ear. Every few second you hear my voice but it sounds like im talking to you quietly through a wall.

@@BMCMOTOUK you can always tag along on a ride if you want, i mostly ride alone because i like going to weird places miles away from everyone. I do sometimes think maybe i should go places where other bikers go, but then i see a castle or cool looking valley and go "Ooooo, whats that place?".
