Star Fox 2 Expert playthrough - 0% Corneria damage, no deaths
มุมมอง 15K6 ปีที่แล้ว
After unlocking Expert mode and successfully completing it with the loss of a wingman and 90% Corneria damage, I wanted to do even better - 0% Corneria damage and and no wingman deaths, as I had with Hard mode. This is actually my second successful such playthrough - I hadn't recorded the first one.

Mobius ActionCam - Spokane dusk FPV
มุมมอง 38010 ปีที่แล้ว
At around 4:30PM on December 18th, 2013, I tossed my Synapse FPV plane up for a dusk flight. I flew approximately 2.5 miles to the southeast, attaining an altitude of perhaps(as in, guessing) 2000' AGL. I'm quite pleased with how well the camera did in the low light conditions. It doesn't seem to do as well in this regard as the camera I use for live video feedback(my RMRC 600XV), but it certai...

Il-2 Sturmovik demo: Yak-9 vs Me-109
มุมมอง 48K18 ปีที่แล้ว
The Russian and German fighters duke it out in a one-on-one fight in the IL-2 Sturmovik demo. This was back when I was still learning proper dogfighting tactics, as those of you who regularly play game(s) from the IL-2 series will most likely be able to tell. This dogfight actually lasted twice as long as the video, but I chopped the first half to cut down the file size. Nonetheless, I personal...
12:16 The fact that this enemy literally has "evil" stamped on the shield is amazing
We’ll look at that, Google Translate confirms it. That’s just silly. To think that I saw that symbol many times and thought nothing of it, other than that it looked cool.
40:37 - WOLF: Nãããããooooooooo! Star Fox! Você vai me pagar por isso!!!! 40:52 - ANDORF: GWARGH! O QUE FOI QUE ELE FEZ?!
46:39 GENERAL PEPPER: Muito Bem Star Fox!!
KRYSTAL: Você Conseguiu Fox!!
KRYSTAL: Eu Amo Você Fox!!
46:50 FOX: Vamos Voltar Pra Corneria!!
Well done 👍
Is this emulated? There is no way you’re running this on SNES mini, correct? There’s way less lag here, like mods were used to better optimize the frame rate.
This is definitely running on an emulator yeah. And not a great one at that, considering the battle transitions were not properly rendered.
I used ZSNES. It’s really old, and was even at the time I recorded this, but I found that it ran the game well enough to keep things enjoyable. The SNES Classic/Mini version has way too much slowdown. And I tried it on SNES9X, but it either had too much slowdown, or it ran too fast to be playable(I honestly can’t remember which)
9:23 that exit had so much character..
30:45 nice lmao
Looking back, yeah that is a funny moment. A gauntlet of fire sticks to get past, and I hit nearly every one of them
I'm a fan of Star fox for so long and I'm actually impressed. ❤️ The first star fox 1993 actually harder than this one 😂
How do u record this gameplay?
Emulator
Still cool.
This is an awesome playthrough. Not TAS perfect so it feels real, but probably a good representation of the best a mere mortal can do.
Playser: Fox Partner: Falco
What an absolute legend.
Wow good job
Damn
What's with the dislikes?
Good job JozMk.II! Your video is good too, for a "one man band"! It is a nice plane.
Looks like a 1990s Dos game.
I would say it's Microprose F-117A, but not sure.
Zatracenec Yes, it looks like F-117A by Microprose.
The short looping animation makes it perfect. He's just chilling on a bomb run.
nice one , just testing my mobius in low light at the minute, great camera.
how did you mount the mobius... im thinking about getting one for exactly this, im in flight school and wanna record my flights
I bought the optional suction-cup mount and mounted it on the inside of the airplane's windshield.
What settings dyou have on the Mobius? WDR on I assume? Thanks
Actually, I wasn't aware that the Mobius had a Wide Dynamic Range setting; I was flying with the camera on its default settings.
HA HA HA!!! That was great!!! Super nice job!!! Using that rudder really makes the plane turn on a spot. I think Ed would be proud of this flight video. Thumbs up, for sure!!!
This is cool! I like the differences that you have on this plane. Nice job!!!
MrCuervoRC Thank you for the suggestion. I have since acquired a Mobius Actioncam, which should work great for a head-mounted camera for my future flight videos. Thank you also for your complement on my airplane.
I have a helmet-camera to record and fly it at the same time, you should make one. good aircraft, very nice
Und der Hauptmann hat den Rusack von der Hausapotheke gegeben und damit hat es auf 101 russäcke gebracht runter zu holen.
Also, along with the rest of your airplanes, thank you for sharing the Peace Drone with us. I've had interest in creating a canard plane with moving canard surfaces for a while now. Your design gave me the means of producing such a plane; One which proved to not be too intimidating for a person who has just recently taken to scratch-building.
Yeah, she does look weird in the air. I will say, I didn't quite like the peculiarity of her appearance in the air at first, but it's grown on me. She actually looks very much like a drone in the air IMO; I'd like to call her the Mini Drone, but I feel it'd be a bit misleading since she's not a FPV plane. Haha, I had a fellow RC pilot approach me while I was flying it and comment on how bizarre it looked flying around.
Thanks, I took inspiration from the thoroughness of your videos on the planes you've designed. They're put together well and provide lots of details, making it easy to continually access different parts of the videos to better understand aspects of the designs and get ideas. I decided to try for a similar approach with my video to make it easy for viewers to see and understand my example of an application of your designs for their personal benefit.
Part 2 flying video right on cue! Flies remarkably well, and looks weird, which is half the fun.
Very good and thorough presentation and examination of the plane. Cool and super-compact it is. Part 2 will be the flight video I hope?
It's IL-2. I wonder how the the P-51 in DCS: Mustang would do with it's tail fin blown off? That sim aircraft's flight model makes any of the ones in IL-2 seem like they're from Ace Combat!
1. Much smoother control with better coordination. 2. Having several buttons at your fingertips on a joystick is much more convenient than reaching across a keyboard to do critical actions such as firing guns and looking through your gunsight.
Surprised to see it'll still let you do a roll with no problem with that tail fin shot off. Yeah, right!
@vizzuleyes They came with no back plates.
@corsair16 now that makes sence. There is one way to tell. Did the control horns on your elavon come with back plates or are they glued to foam?
@vizzuleyes Alright, perhaps my wording was a bit misleading. I did not upload this video with the intent of publicizing it, but don't mind if people other than my friend watch it. "don't be a whinny bitch if someone has a different opinion than you that's is what a comment is....." I'm not seeing how my arguing against your statements you made in your first comment is being whiny; I was merely stating my opinion that happened to be different from yours. ;)
@vizzuleyes *Shrug* The amount of work the ESC had to do was so little that, frankly, it's negligible. I have about ten flights on my Stryker now, and my ESC continues to function fine. I got my Stryker less than a month ago; maybe they improved the manufacturing process for the components since the time you got yours?
@corsair16 oh almost forgot if you don't want feed back on a video 1. don't post, 2 do a private post 3. disable comments and most importantly don't be a whinny bitch if someone has a different opinion than you that's is what a comment is.....no disrespect ya know. lol
@corsair16 Sorry if my comment came across that bad. Its just a natural response to seeing servos lift a plane. I wouldn't be so confident in the E-flite rx. The 40 and 60 in this series are very poorly made and fail alot!!! just read around. Mine toasted after 3 stock flights, they used a very fragile and cheap silicon bind agent inside, once cracked, caused by heat or impact, its just a matter of time. I'm not saying you were stressing it, but I know it was warming up thats all.
@vizzuleyes And, I doubt that the ESC was under any more stress than it would undergo if one were to simply run the throttle at full for a few seconds with the aircraft in their hand for testing purposes, if that.
@vizzuleyes I doubt that the amount of resistance that the servos were dealing with was significant compared to the amount they deal with in flight, what with the high-G maneuvers this airplane is capable of. No, I am not "new at this." I have been flying RC for some ten years now. I called it a drone because it technically is a drone, and I don't care much for publicity of this video; I uploaded it with the main intent of sharing it with a friend.
ouch, lifting your stryker by its elavons. Your new at this aren't ya. Thats not good on the ol servos but also drawing alot of amps with no air flowing over you ESC. When did these become drones??
Of course the Yaks (like all Soviet aircraft) in IL2 were WAY, WAY, overmodelled....as can be seen by the Yak with no tail quite happily flying under complete control, but that was down to Oleg ;)
Only watched half of this video. 109 pilot is a NOOB and I can guarantee he gets nailed by the YAK. Never, Ever, turn fight with a Yak, and NEVER give up your energy advantage down low. 109 deserves to die.
Is this tactic too risky or not? is preferable to attack from above or bellow?
@ORKSIZDABEST ... in a dive??? So could a Hurricane. Just a matter of diving steep enough. Speeds are measured a level flight.
@LarS1963 A-8 could go 750 in a dive.
@ORKSIZDABEST Not a chance! The FW 190 A8 had a top-speed of 656 km/h (408 mph) at (19,420 ft) The FW 190 D9 could reach 685 km/h (426 mph) at 6,600 m (21,655 ft), 710 km/h (440 mph) at 37,000 ft (11,000 m). However, that wasn't produced before until august -44. And, as the action on the Eastern front was usually low-altitude, the D9s was mostly employed on the Western Front. Only FW to reach 750 km/h was the TA-152. That wasn't employed before january -45 and only 43 was produced.
@LarS1963 The FW-190 could go up to 750 Km/h.
