Love it! The humour in the credits, the very kinky repetitive music and the "Old Spice" surfing ad opera piece.. But no seriously, lots if incredibly dense info and learning. Thanks Mark!

This is the best education I have ever received as a Farrier and would love to know how to be an apprentice there. I feel that I could learn so much more.

Excuse me sir maybe you should talk to me about your findings because maybe in my studies, I might be able to show you a different point of correctness. Sincerely a master farrier who knows about movement of the horse.

(2:02) ...the least you could of done was found a balanced hoof without under-run heels (all one needs to do is look at the bulge in the quarter walls to see this) and the wall face at the toe is rasped almost through the external stratum. (10:45)...the caudal weight bearing for the heel is very forward and the frog is stretched putting it's apex under the distal boarder of coffin bone at the toe...in other words every time the horse steps he will continue to stretch the frog.. I'm sorry but your method for trimming protocol is ineffective if not down right incompetent...bruce

Bmc06239....you’ve stated a highly controversial claim and I’m very interested in the “why” you said that. It’s very likely were in some form of agreement on this. We should chat if you’re willing?

(1:15) You have not mapped this distorted hoof correctly...you are ignoring contracted forward heels with stretched frog, laid over bars and no sole concavity...you are marking break over at least 15mm forward from where it needs to be. You will NEVER grow out the distortion with this trim. (3:14) You are not correct in finding the leading edge because the sole has been stretched by the long (foundered) toe. Your information is only valuable when there is NO hoof distortion...it's sad to think you are instructing.
