    Do not share why you’re away. It’s oversharing. Also, do not give your alternate POC’s cell phone number (I would be furious because it sets a precedent that a client/customer can contact me on my personal phone at any time which is not okay). Use the alternate POC’s work email address instead.

    Nah i have been a technical interviewer and I’m just too lazy to read each resume. Would rather the person explain their experience in words. Has nothing to do with anomalies , we sometimes talk to three people in a day, in addition to our regular sprint/tasks, so can’t read through all resumes.

    It’s so funny because the “we’re like a family” is used to guilt the workers lower down, but like, y’all if my employer said we were a family I’d be telling em that they should be giving me “loans” that they never expect to be paid back cause that’s what family does.

    Most small businesses are like this. You can't reasonably hire one person per job when you only have a handful of employees. If you want to wear one hat, you're probably destined to work at a cooperate job, which is fine, but def a diff animal all together with plenty of its own problems.

    I am willing to do extra work at a job rather than not have a job. My work in a fast-paced kitchen I love the adrenaline rushes. We are like family. Work with some of these guys in different kitchens for 20 years, some of them here for 10 years. The core crew always willing to do more to make it happen. We are closer than my real family. I prefer no boundaries. I don't have to worry about what I say. We can be ourselves, talk openly, have disagreements and know we will talk it out while a whiskey afterwards. I couldn't be at a place I worried about offending people and just showed up to get a check, while not caring about the biz or the people around me. Hope you find something you can not care about and not be part of something great. Sounds fun👍

    I had an interview at my current job. They told me a time then sent me an email with a time that was 2 hours later. Corporate HR is in mountain time where as the facility I was doing my interview at is in eastern time. Now there was no notation in the email tat the posted time was in mountain time. I called to ask about the discrepancy. 3 1/2 years later they havent fixed this and people are still showing up 2 hours late

    Hi, could you please help me? What do I say if I left my job because my mother was very sick and I wanted to stay with her? But now everything is fine, and I want to work again. I can’t go back to the previous company, because my team members are working remotely, this is difficult as I want to be with them. I like talking to people, making new friends. I liked my prev job but I can't stay alone, I want to be with other people who work with me. Should I tell the truth or come up with another excuse?

    Should I learn html css JavaScript then Wordpress?

    • @markharris142
      @markharris142 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @MobileDeveloper1965 If you are just beginning, HTML and CSS is a great place to start. Then add JavaScript into the mix a few weeks later. This helps to develop the "front-end" skills. The usual approach is to learn front-end skills and then later the back-end. For the back-end, WordPress uses the language PHP and MySQL for the database.
