I got into gundam when i was 9. I walked into a toy store and saw this glass display case full of assembled models. It was love at first sight. I dont know how long i stood in front of that display but it was long enough for my aunt to pants me in the middle of the store. She bought me a kit as part of a deal not to snitch to my mom but i didnt need any kind of content to understand that these robots were so fucking cool like holy shit.

Gundam IBO is different from the other Gundam series aesthetically, because in the lore, special in armor has been developed to counter beam weapons. Therefore, all the weapons used are things like big-ass cannons, maces, physical swords, etc. that give all the battles a visceral physicality. I believe there’s a quote from some on the Sunrise team that it was a deliberate choice to distinguish IBO from “beam-spam” shows like Gundam SEED and Gundam 00.

OGs may hate IBO but this series brought in more fans on newer gen

Gjalarhorn is based off norse myth and the federation has norse based ms while the 72 gundams are Ars Goetia demons made to pummel the true enemy of humanity which are mobile armors

The origin series is good, because all the mobile suits in there are not too futuristic and it explains how mobile suits started out.

One episode rule sounds like a stupid rule, but I can see it on newer animes. That's probably why IBO got your attention because it is more modern.

Ever since I started consuming One Piece media two years ago, I started noticing a rapid change from my depression. Last year, my depression levels was very high, wit me outbursting into tears when going out with family to just have fun for no reasons, and I felt miserable knowing that I am sadly spoiling what should be a fun moment for them. Last year, I literally had the most stale routine in the summer of Work, Play video games, sleep, repeat; and I felt awful doing it like if this was going to be the rest of my life. Nodaways, I am much more cheerful, not so much of a shut it and socialize more. yeah, i'm not the happiest person, but I am definitely way happier this year than the last. I want to mostly thank One Piece for this, but I think it was more of a small act of kindness a stranger offered me for not much reason (Invitation to a party) and I took it and if slowly opened me to new possibilities in the world.

If your done with Gundam IBO then watch Gundam 00. That anime came out in 2007 yet it still looks very beautiful even by today's standards.

I really think that Gundam Build Divers re rise has a very good start and the gundam kit for it is FIRE its amazing and I also think the series was AMAZING, if u didnt see it i think u should!

Everything about the anime is okay barring the potentially strong characters like Iida, Ochako, Millenial (and so more) being sidelined so bad... Its fine to have a big three but everything isn't about the Todorokis, and Ochakos obsession with Deku who is obsessed with being a hero... Literally killed the entire plot by doing this...

Dude season 6 part 1 and 2 were amazing I can see how some people would fall off before getting to that point but I’m super hyped for season 7 and I think it’s still one of the highest watched anime shows

i agreed with u when u said the messed up things that happen are followed by goofy things. but you also said that mha is very similar to the real world. just cuz shigaraki went through that stuff, doesnt mean deku feels what shigaraki feels. deku will laugh, an so will the rest of the class. take todoroki for example, everyone knew that he hated his father early on, but none of the class knew that he'd been abused mentally and physically, so they're not gonna be gloomy just cuz he went though that unless he tells them the full story. i think season 5 when deku and bakugo went to todorki's house to eat, deku started to get a foggy picture of what happened but still didnt really know. but i think ive explained that enough. the thing that i disagreed with the most tho. deku being a bad main character. you keep saying mha is similar to the real world but u dont believe it. just cuz deku isnt an angry character like bakugo, or a cheerful character like the invisible girl, or a gloomy dude like todorki, doesnt mean he doesnt have personality. i'd argue that deku is the most realistic character and i think that was purposeful by the mha producers. it seems that quirks have shaped everyone's personality. i dont feel like giving examples but a solid bit of the characters have personalities that match their quirks if u just give it a second look. but deku not having a quirk is why is personality isnt set in stone. he can be angry when he needs to be, inspirational, happy, funny, and gloomy when the situation calls for it. lastly, deku may not have had as much character development asa bakugo, but deku's character has developed a lot more than u payed attention to. deku from an early age wanted to be a hero like allmight, he was told that he couldnt be one because he was quirkless. he tried to accept it but he could never really get rid of that dream, he meets up with allmight and receives the power. hes a nervous and reserved guy. can barely even talk to girls. in season 1 he learns how to walk with his quirk. season 2 he learns what it means to even walk, grand torino makes deku question wether or not he has what it takes to hold the power. season 3 all the most hype things go down, and all the pressure that was shared by all might and deku, ended up falling on deku's shoulders as a whole. season 4 made deku question why he was even chosen, after finding out that the quirk was originally gonna go to one of the big 3. he even shows doubt. but all the doubt goes away after the fight with overhaul. season 5 is where deku is fully prepaired to defeat the league of villains. he unlocks his new quirks. and during the war he emapthized with shigaraki even when shigaraki was the cause of his friends being hurt. season 6 is where deku is experiencing the pressure that allmight had to carry as strongest hero. deku doesnt even want his friends to fight because hes afraid to see them hurt. he faught with no sleep, no food, no water, all so he wouldnt see them die. his friends save him from that mindset by showing that they can handle themselves. at the end of season 6, deku receives hope from the people he's saving. and upcoming season 7, the war isnt just about beating up villains and saving civillians. deku wants to save EVERYONE. he knows that the only reason most villains became villains was because they got unlucky with they're quirks (toga being obsessed with blood because of it) (shigarki having a decentagration quirk and killing his abusive family and nobody helped him when he needed it and was saved by all for one) (and Dabi being raised to be no.1 hero by endevor but endevor lost hope in him once he realized he didnt have fire resitance. then dabi almost got burned alive and saved by all for one). deku's fight with lady nagant also changes his views on villains. now currently in the manga deku is trying to save shigarki, todoroki tried to save dabi, and uraraka tried to save toga. in sumary, deku came from being a guy that wanted to be a hero and save civillains. to being the number 1 hero trying to save civilians, heros, and villains omg this a lot, do not read this lol

i do agree that deku isn't the best mc but his character growth in the last seasons of the anime is hella good.

The HYPE died because the writer is going through medical problems and had to speed up the pacing for his own sake, I love the story but it went downhill because the pacing got screwed up due to no fault of the writer, he has to retire because of his state

Yeah but that mid season 3 drop off in quality is absolutely insane. You come off the amazing All Might vs All for one and you get a bland arc with a forced Todoroki plot with that wind guy that meant nothing in the overall plot.

honestly nothing happened to mha,the author talked about how the editors weren't letting him write the story he wanted so now he's just kinda abruptly ending it (that's why everything from season 5 feels odd and doesnt sit that right) The biggest reason it 'fell off' is simply there's better newer shows now that took the spotlight, between 2016_2019 mha almost ran soley on its own that's why it was so popular lol it was new and cool and had no rivals in fact everyone back then said mha literally revived shounen , now shounen is back and there's at least one new hot shounen every year people and media's attention simply has been jumping to newer trendier stuff with that being said mha is still super popular lol it did not fall off as a series manga is still in the top 10 and its anime is still one of the most anticipated each year, it's just not as trendy anymore(like at all)

I can see what your saying however I feel the true short coming of the anime is that it brings up a whole bunch of dark stuff but then never really addresses it for the most part or as you said a character makes a funny face and all of a sudden the dark stuff gets ignored for way too long. You are correct about Izuku midoriya being a blank slate of a main character, his nickname literally means wooden doll, but he had potential. maybe if they made him angry for how he was treated when he was quirkless and let him develop through that route he could have been so much better, hes too passive in anything that is not saving someone else. just my rambling though, great video!

It has not failed. It just doesn have the best free plubicity ever: theories. The story is so predictable that most people just read or watch it and that is it, no will to talk with others and a few drops. If you go to manga plus mha still one of the most read ones. And the story is good, it just has no hype because, like I said, it is predictable (and those trash "filler" arcs, the story would be 10 times better if wasn't about academia)

Ok now thats out of the way well lets play a game shall we, im not being sarcastic Count the number of scenes in pages through out BNHA were the heroes have the advantage over the villains and and do the same with the villains-Isn't it that when it seems the villains might fight back-I know even you have read between the lines-AFO Never had a chance cuz he's written to be predictable and thats exactly what the heroes were counting on.I will sum up what i interpret what the heroes plans was from the beginning. It was ALWAYS from the first battle, when they fought the villains, it may look like they just wanted to capture all the villains but its more than that-Its for Twice and Gigant-Hawks knows it would be difficult to get someone like Dabi, but it is VERY CRUTIAL that they get twice, cuz the heroes are WRITTEN to learn from their battles unlike AFO, and they know Karagiri and twice were MOSTLY used in their previous encounters and they may not have powerful quirks but are very important non-the less..I think you can figure out where all MY lets say disagreement with the writing started-it was when Momo did what she did to Gigant...I will NEVER forgive her and with NO HUMOUR that i tell you, I have the manga vol till 36 but the vol where she did what she did i get it locked separated from the rest, she needs to be accountable for her illegal action.This final fight all AFO actions are written like he is a fool not a dangerous mastermind that had lived for a long time.Think about this It never occur to him that MAYBE the heroes would use a tactic that has been around for centuries to defeat him?That he never consider thought his "Air quote" genius mind that his two greatest accepts that he has showcase throught out the feaking story would be used against him??I now would point out key aspects of the final war that I think you too have notice but just kept at the back of your mind-1.Notice in vol36 there is a page with a view of the trap for shikaraki- notice anything? yes it it far from the mainland BUT close enough for a certain Sniper hero to use her quirk, and what did we conveniently see later on? AFO with his brilliant mind never once thought what will happen if his comrades get captured and how convenient it is that the heroes HAPPEN to have a brainwasher quirk user which comes to my MOST important fact-The heroes knows about his reversing quirk-they were banking on it-the whole plan was forcing him to use iy as quickly as possible before he intended to use it.Thats why all the heroes went to his location to put as much pressure on him as possible-and what did we see happens? He was force to fall in their trap-lets back up and talk about another convenient aspect of the plan that is written for the heroes-They have faced Gigant and like i said before learnt from their mistakes-That is why the brainwash user was at that location with Mt. Lady to face him-They knew might would not take him down so they use cunning which again AFO lacks significantly-They knew time was of the essence and the fastest way to beat him is TO USE HIM-Again the heroes are NO FREAKING BETTER than the villains at how they treat him-look what happen to him...Hawks even though battered and bruise along with the rest of them know they have done what they said out to do, all they needed now was time-How VERY VERY convenient it is that AFO hatred for All might cloud his rational thinking and thus leads to his ultimate demise...All shikaraki does through out this battle is some what defend himself, sure he was still dangerous and almost killed Bakugo and look thought ALL the manga panels again and tell me if the process of the story isn't like this- The heroes gets the upperhand all through the fight-When it seems that it might shift to the villain's-an aspect comes along and thrashes that-Even now what do we see happens? The bane of the villans ALL Through out the story lives and is STILL a bane to them-but oh noooo AFO don't take out one of the recourses of the heroes who has always help in thwarting our plan and is doing it now with the help of our own like i said another important aspects of AFO plan Karakiri...Also raise hands everyone who KNEW Eri is somehow gonna lets say the magic word together CONVENIENTLY help gets Delu hand back when AGAIN it seems like for a FREAKING few panels all hope is lost but nooo we would always extend an olive branch to the heroes in our writing
