Oh no. Sorry you had a bad experience too. Honestly it's definitely a problem with the management when so many of the staff have such a bad attitude.

Not noisy at all. We're fairly high up there and the sound didn't really carry.

Hi Thomas 1. Yes, mini bar is all complimentary. They will even send bottles of wine to your room from the restaurant. 2. They have amazing waiter service by the pools for drinks and snacks. Irina who manages the main pool bar and her team work so hard. 3. I've been 6th October for a week before and weather was around 20 degrees with occasional cloud. In 2021 mid October was terrible weather, so it can be a gamble. I'd say beginning of October is usually good though. I'm going again on 15th October 🙂

We used to go to Greece but switched to Antalya in Turkey 10yrs ago but it's become so popular the prices are outrageous, (£ 5k-6k for 2 people for 7 nights at the top 3 hotels) hence why we're looking at Greece again. I will say the food looks absolutely fantastic at Ikos Hotels. Which of the Ikos hotels is your favourite? (Apologies for all the questions). Thanks

@thomasbroleen4241 it's crazy money for some places now. Ikos is really expensive in summer, so I usually go Apr/May or Sep/Oct. Food is good at ikos and I'll always put weight on (that may be the Cocktails though 🤣) Oceania is definitely my favourite. It's smaller but it's the first one I went to and I think the staff there are the best

@@CharlotteOconnorTravel thanks so much for your replies Charlotte, just one last question, do you have to pay for the a la carte restaurants? As I've seen another vlog fro Ikos Oceania and a guest had a menu with prices in euros next to each dish. Apologies again.

@thomasbroleen4241 no problem. Happy to answer any questions. No you don't pay anything for the meals, the prices on the menus always throws people. It's Greek law that they still have to put a price next to every item on a menu. You literally pay nothing extra there, apart from massages etc. I only take extra cash to tip the staff and that's it

Hi. They have kids day activities, soft play for little ones and a playground. I don't travel with children but others have said Ikos Olivia and Aria are the best ones with kids. Also I'd say people have commented there's not lots for kids to do in the evening

Mainly sandy with some shingle/pebbles by the waters edge. I'd still recommend maybe some water shoes when going in the sea

I don't remember it being rocky at all, or much seaweed. Its a nice calm bay so not a lot of big waves.

Oh also with the mini bar and room service do you get charged for this extra at the end of your stay or is it all included with what you have already payed?

Hi Megan. Not silly questions at all 🙂 Particularly as all inclusives vary with what you get, and what you have to pay for. At ikos you don't pay any extras, so a la carte and mini bar drinks, pool service is all included. I only take extra euros to tip the amazing staff. You can book 3 a la carte Restaurants before arrival (usually from April when they open for the season). Then book the additional Restaurants when you arrive. No need to book breakfast or lunch, just turn up when you like. Pool and beach bars have waiter service so no need to move off the sunbed. I hope that helps. Any questions just ask

Thanks. 🙂 I do love Ikos! Particularly Oceania as so many of the staff get to know you. Its nice finding somewhere you can totally relax. Food and service is always great. I hope you have a great time time, let me know how you liked it. I'll most likely be back to Oceania next year in May. In the meantime I'm off to Florida and a Caribbean cruise for my 50th in a couple of weeks.

Hi again. I definitely try to have fun! Yes Lewis is my youngest. My daughter Lily is in the Dassia video too. I've not booked the Panoramic at Oceania before, I'm assuming it will be block 3. The views are amazing at Oceania. Email now to book your evening meals. They will usually allow 3 now, don't book Flavours! I usually have Ouzo 1st night (got to have Greek food right!), then Provence 2nd night, 3rd night Anaya. The Italian is probably my least favourite, as pizza/pasta for a vegan is not that exciting! But they do some meat/fish options my friends/family love and the sunset from the terrace is wonderful. Make sure to speak to Alex or the other staff on arrival to book all other evening meals. 🙂

Thanks 😊 I've never done Deluxe, as I don't feel I've missed out as everything already is amazing. In Deluxe you have a massage included, there's a separate pool with gin trolley but apart from that the restaurants and level of service the same. I think if the price to upgrade works for you, plus you want to pay for a massage anyway it may be worthwhile. I've booked the smallest promo room in the past though and still been treated like a queen!

Yes, absolutely everything is included! There's 5 a la carte Restaurants and 1 buffet. Some of the other Ikos have even more restaurants. The mini bar in the room and room service 24/7 is included too. We really are spoilt for choice! X

Thanks 🙂 I know the pools are meant to be heated. They must be, or it would have been freezing at the start of the season when we went and the pool felt a good temperature to me.

@@CharlotteOconnorTravel we went at the beginning of the season too and the pools were unusable to the point I nearly got hypothermia!! They must have made them heated since then as this was a regular complaint from guests back then, hence the reason we started going to the Olivia 20 minutes up the road!! Thanks Charlotte x

@@CharlotteOconnorTravel Ah so you are a loyal Ikos customer. Did they have daily live entertainment music during your stay or only during selected days?

@@private9948 we were there on opening day but not everything was on. We still had live music 3 nights out of 5. After first week of May there is a weekly Beach party with music and live shows in the theatre. Enough to keep you entertained most nights

Hi Sam. Personally I prefer Oceania. I'm going back there for the 5th time in 10 days 🙂 Dassia is bigger, has more restaurants etc and definitely a better beach but I prefer the smaller more intimate vibe at Oceania. I think Oceania tends to be more adult orientated too. Which ever one you pick though you'll have a great time.

I don't think you can be disappointed with an Ikos hotel 🙂

We were there 15-22 October and they had a couple of weeks in October that had a lot of rain. Apparently that was unusual though. We had been to ikos Oceania in October before and didn't have rain. We had a few rainy days, but having said that it was still warm and we could sit by the pool every day.

@@CharlotteOconnorTravel yes, I was wondering why their are prices on the menu also. I'm doing some research on this hotel because I'm thinking about going. Did you have to pay for the food once you got to the restaurant?

@@lakeishasmith112 Apparently it is Greek law that prices have to be displayed. Everything is all-inclusive though. You don't pay anything extra for food and drink. Room service, food and drink by the pool, mini bar etc are all included 🙂
