It's really great. Tell me. Are you controlling the velocity of the samples from your sequencer or from the sampler ?
Thank you!!! To answer your question i am kinda doing both because whether the mpc or alesis is in control the samples do not exist in either device. The drums and synths are velocity sensitive which i am playing in and are ultimately get captured by the sequencer. The primary sample is not really velocity sensitive in a traditional sense though i have velocity mapped to some other params which are key to my sound. I am never step sequencing in velocity, more playing the patterns in then bouncing them between the sequencers. If u are asking about the part that happens 24 seconds in what i am doing is sweeping down the filter cutoff to give space 4 the synth to hit, not directly dropping the velocity on the primary sample.
