3:50 Instead of yanking the mirror off, there are two screws near where the mirror base is attached. Unscrew the screws to push the mirror out.

Thanks I was having issues reinstalling my mirror. Some other videos suggested hammering it in which did not work. But your method with pushing up with nut driver on right side worked great 👍🏼 it popped right in. thanks 🙏

And thanks I got the mirror in. I went back and rewatched video and saw what I was doing wrong. I see where you have to push and also it makes a difference having the light section off. You can see way easier when inserting the mirror in.

The compass is working Now. When I tried to do the calibration by pushing a pin up in the hole like the owners manual says. Nothing happen. Anyway. It calibrated itself correctly as I drove it today. It was qrong right at first when I started the car and drove but over 1/4 hour it corrected itself

how do you get the compass feature to work? I tried pushing a pen and even a paper clip into the reset hole near the left driver light on the bottom of the mirror as the manual stated..nothing happened. All i see is the W still.

Thanks alot..I have a 2011 W204 with manual flip mirror and upgraded it to a mirror from a 2014 w204 with auto dimming, compass and garage door opener. Now I know how to get it back into place.....
