I love the process of finding metals, melting them down, refining them and creating whatever comes to my mind. I also combine my love for woodworking to create unique pieces. I also love casting projectiles. Some common ones and some uncommon. Casting, loading, and shooting bullets are one is my favorite hobbies.

Melting Aluminum and Zinc at night
This weeks video is a little different. Since I only have the weekend to film my videos, my time can get very limited. The whole weekend got away from me. But I wanted to melt something. So I did it at night. I hope you enjoy the video. Thank you for all the support. See you next week.

Battleground Meltdown - Free Copper and Aluminum
มุมมอง 1.3K16 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา
Well this video has taken me way longer than I thought to film and edit. I hope it is entertaining enough for all of you. While I was out hunting with my son, i saw some items that I could melt down. Unfortunately, people bring all sorts of things to dump at places like this. The good thing for me is that sometimes they contain precious metals for me to melt. There is still a ton of stuff left ...
Marketplace Treasure

Unfortunately I was out of town over the weekend. So I didn't get to scrap or melt anything. Instead, I decided to go on a hunt for something to scrap. I was able to find a couple of generators. They should hopefully give me a good amount of copper as well as aluminum. I hope everyone has a great week. See you next weekend. And as always, stay safe.
Melting Oversized Aluminum Whole
มุมมอง 3.7K21 วันที่ผ่านมา
Hello everyone, I hope you are having a great weekend. Today I am going to be melting down more of the boat motor. These are the largest pieces from it. However, instead of breaking them down to fit in the crucible, I decided to melt them whole. It creates a few challenges, but fun overall. I also had to restack my ingots after weighing them last week. Now that they are a bit more organized, I ...
Total Weight and Value of my Ingots
มุมมอง 2.1Kหลายเดือนก่อน
Ive been curious for a while now about how much all my ingots weigh. I haven't kept track of it. So I decided to weigh all of them. First I wire wheeled the ones that needed it. Then weighed them. I also determined the total value of everything I have. I used the market value and not the scrap value. I was hoping for at least $1,000. You will have to see the end to see what the total value is. ...
Full metal jacket Meltdown

Hello everyone. Today I was limited on time so I thought I would just keep it short and sweet. I have some range lead that I melted awhile back. I wanted to see what the jacket metal looked like if I were able to extract all the lead out. Ive heard that it is red brass. I wanted to see if it is or if it resembled some other kind of metal I'm familiar with. I hope you enjoy the video. Make sure ...

This was a huge project for me. Fortunately I had a week off of work so I had the time to complete it. I have been looking forward to doing this project. There was some brass and copper as well but I'm gonna save that for a different video. I hope you enjoy this video. Mak...
Melting down Spills and Slag

Hello everyone. I hope your weekend is great. Today I wanted to put the finishing touches on my forge. You will have to let me know what you think. My forge decided to give itself a makeover of sorts. And I caught my hand on fire...

Hello Everyone. I hope you are having a great weekend. My forge has needed a renovation for quite some time. Well, I finally did it. Extension Cord meltdown

Today I'm gonna strip down and melt a few extension cords. I also found some outdoor electrical covers that ended up being made of zinc. I haven't melted down any zinc by itself yet. Melting some Widow Makers

After a long week at work and some things going on at home, I didn't have time to work on the flag. So I decided to melt down some ladders I got from a friend. These are all aluminum. I call them widow makers because that is exactly what they are. They are very unstable. I won't use them. The breakdown of these are pretty straightforward. They are held together with about 10,000 rivets. I just ...

@@mattyal9347 I agree
So what the video 'bout...... Wishful thinking??? Oh, well until next time
I'm sure those ladders were worth their weight in ..... something? Lol. You absolutely made them safer, standing on the stack of ingots is absolutely safer than those ladders. Lmao. Great video though beother, new subscriber here. I melt small amounts of silver, but watching anything melt is cool imo. Edit: could maybe just burn the rivet heads off your bit with the old torch? Should 't get hot enough to affect the temper on the bit. That aluminum melts at a fairly low temp. Just a thought.
Great night session brother , love the pours at night glowing red hot got more copper and aluminium awesome
@@itsjustme356 ya. I love melting at night. It just doesn't seem to translate well on video. I'm gonna have to figure something out to make it a little better. Thank you bro

Well, well, well....... You goin' to keep all your stuff separate? Is this a once a week program on TH-cam? Is there a goal of what aiming for: tons, pounds etc. where you from?

هل هناك طريقة تزيد وزن المعدن الرصاص
Lead is one of the heaviest metals I'm able to melt by volume. So I would think anything you add to it would only make it lighter.
Good fun. Personally, I would be wearing a respirator. Lead vapor is no joke.
Do you get alot of copper shells mixed in? I'm curious why you don't use a magnet to sort the stuff out .
@@ryanbosak2944 The first time I melt the lead out of the shells I always use a magnet to help sort out the lead. This wasn't the first time. I melted the lead out of these awhile ago. I always thought the shells were copper until I tried this. Apparently they are usually red brass which looks similar to copper. But I haven't been able to figure out what metal these shells are made out of.
Were there any TMJs in there at all? If there were did they break open enough to get the lead out?
