How much metal ? And hrs on engine was it taken care of etc if it’s low hrs I’d definitely not get another one but if it was good see what parts cost to rebuild

@wyattbowen2469 I got it from my neighbor, seized and not running. I had taken care of it as long as I had had it running, but it was likely previously damaged. Unfortunately, it will cost more than the motor is worth to rebuild

My process for selling a mower to goes as follows 1. Does the mower start reliability every time you want it to (1-2 pulls) 2. Does the mower have anything mechanically wrong with it ( such as a bent crankshaft or rusty deck) 3. Does the mower look good cosmetically (shiny mowers sell better than beat up ones). I also take brand and age into account when pricing them. I will be happy to answer any other questions about selling mowers if any part wasn't clear

@homebuilthorsepower3207 I've followed these the problem is I've had a mower start reliably on first pull and let it run for 20 minutes no problem then the next day the customer arrives and it bogs down it was a freak accident tho I didn't reinstall the throttle z end into correct hole so it wasn't opening throttle plate fully

@iloveap83 Yeah accidents happen all the time. I usually take pictures of linkages and where they belong, especially if its an engine that I'm not familiar with

It's pretty damn torquey for a mini bike. You barely have to touch the throttle before you're halfway down the track

I got this old tiller running as my tribute to my Grandpa's life. He loved working in his garden, but he is gone now. RIP Grandpa.

I explained in the description, but since nobody reads those, it was the recoil starter that did not return to its disengaged position. It caught on the flywheel and began to cause immense amounts of friction resulting in the squeal.
