Down by the Glenside (The Bold Fenian Men) is an Irish rebel song written by Peadar Kearney in 1916. My Eurorack version is voiced by Mutable instruments Plaits and Stages in harmonic oscillator mode.

Behringer Brains Synth Modes Sounddemo.
Great Download/Phil Western vibe - love it.
Thank you
What sequencer are you using?
Squarp pyramid
Thanks ❤
Great jam!
Thank you🙏
where you get that panel from?
It's from pushermanproductions.com
thanks @@tobiasdomes2731
Nice demonstration! Thank you!
Ive been fighting with this one since 2021 and still doesnt get it to workm I'm alost and FC doesn't answer my mails Any words of wisdom?
Im not an electronic expert and unable to help you with troubleshooting. My advice is to take high res pictures and post them to the "Synth DIY for non-engineers" Facebook group.

Belle démonstration sur le potentiel batterie !!!Merci !!!
amazing!
Presets ?
Awesome good sounding module 👍is it stock sounds?
It's a stock sound based on digital algorithm available on the newest firmware
Can it trigger multiple voices at once? Or is it essentially a one voice machine?
It's a monophonic sound source. There is a mode with chords also but only one 1volt per octave input
With a sequencer and an attenuverter you can sequence the drums by sending positive and negative voltages to the model CV input. It's fiddly but it works
This is fantastic. That setup….Christ, that must be thousands & thousands of dollars 😅
Uli cloning Mutable is just too low to believe
MI made it open source, what's the problem? That's the least low a clone can be!
@@kx3kx3 Open Source does not mean that you can copy it and use it for whatever you want. What you can do with the source depends on the license. MI clearly stated that they do not condone clones. That’s what makes it low. Maybe Behringer can get away with it legally. Up to you whether you think it’s cool
@@suckerformimi I mostly agree. On the other side, should I refuse to play a Yamaha piano because Silberman (and others...) invented it? What about the poor Adolf Sax? To me it's all about sharing technologies and wisdom to make "better'' music. I understand your point of view though.
@@kx3kx3 You can go ahead and play piano but I don't see the connection here.
@@suckerformimi The connection is that, from the beginning of times, musical instruments are being copied, and that's why music can be shared amongst different performers over time and all over the world.
I LOVE ! 💙
hi new sub here
Hello new sub. Thank you
@@tobiasdomes2731 no problem. hope you are having a good day
I think Punch is one of those way too underrated modules.
You are absolutely right. Lovely little module
verry cool music, love how it actually gives off the synthwave instead of just pure modular!
Thank you for listening. I always prefer the melody and not the noise
Nice. Simple progression but it's rich.
Thank you for listening. 👍
sehr nice!
Danke
dope sauce!
Thank you
Thats awesome, how is the melody done?
I record midi tracks with a keyboard attached to the Squarp pyramid sequencer. The pyramid is connected via USB to the hermod module. The hermod has 8 cv/gate outputs.
@@tobiasdomes2731 thanks for the insight. Never heard of the pyramid sequencer….rabbit hole here I come 😂
Love it mate 👌
Thank you👍
I’ve no clue as to why this was recommended to me but I’m glad it was
Haha. Thank you.
Excellent 👌
This is awesome 👌 Subscribed!
Pure rhythmic beauty... awesome rig Tobias !
Thank you for listening. 👍
Ooh, I like that! 👍
Thank you Probbie
Sounds very danceable indeed. 👍
Thank you for listening
What happened to your Maneco Labs Module ? Did all of the Large Metal Knobs break ? Where are the Lights? I was going to buy this Module but if it breaks so easily It's not worth buying.💡
Haha. That's a blind panel that I received from the nice people at 3-U shop. They included it for free probably because I order so much there.
@@tobiasdomes2731 HA! You should make your own module out of it. That's great, now I can buy one!
@@EleniEliades_ great idea. I have vactrols here for passive lowpass gate
As I was listening, the music began to sound very familiar to me. The longer I listened I knew that I'd heard this song but done with other instruments. Then I saw it's from the 1200's ! I have a collection of C.D.'s with Ancient Music from different countries and assorted times. People remade Ancient Instruments from that Century and made music with those instruments! That's why I know this Beautiful Music and you did a great job of recreating it. Lovely Soundscape!🎶🎛👏🏽🥁💥🌌❗
whats that cables for?
which one?

Beautiful!!! I hope one day to have a set up like this :,)
Yes, why not. Start collecting
@@tobiasdomes2731 I'm broke 😭 but it's nice to watch for now, maybe one day!! <3
Nice demo. How dit you get the speech voices? To what modules is Brains connected? A sampler? I don't get these voices. 👍🎶
Try harder
@@Vag-Poop what a kind and insightful response, I'm glad the synth community is full of loving, welcoming individuals
@@sg8130 he's being a dick, but I think it's because all you have to do is turn the dial to get them. They are also on the microfreak.
Great Jam..i liked and of course subscribed! :)
Thank you
Awesom
Thank you for listening.
Exactly the vid I was looking for, thanks dude.
nice
Excellent! 👌
this is a plaits clone with a oscilloscope right?
Yep, a plaits clone with a oscilloscope. But there are 20 Algorythms on brains and 16 on plaits.
Sounds kinda dull to me.. I have loads of Behringer gear and swear by it (like the Behringer System 100m clones) but this that module.. not for me.
120€ for a BD and a SD is pretty much how I see the thing
cooler track
Excellent mate 👌
Thanks
Very interesting...💡🐾🎵🔥🤙
Thank you
Dude good job this sounds so good
Thank you
the formant filter is proper.
Top & bestellt ;-) gibt keinen besseren Clone.....
So this Module comes with all of the Drum/Percussion Sounds already there? No downloading right? This along with all the Synth sounds available is amazing. I'm guessing this Module isn't being mentioned that much throughout the community is because of who it's maker is. Blah, Blah, so what. As long as it works and doesn't fall apart and sounds as incredible as it does in your video, people should give it a chance. I had no idea how much sound it has right out of the box! So many Drums as well as Synths! And it isn't a copy of "Plaits" at all. Thanks for going through all the sounds in this misunderstood Behringer BRAINS Module. Now I've got to track one of these down and buy it~💡🎵🔥👌❗
These are the sounds out of the box. I got mine last week and it’s incredible.
Word ;-) its a fantastic Module und hope with USB / Update comes more
It is sort of a copy of Plaits, like many other modules are, but it's on steroids! I got one myself a few weeks ago. :-)
I mean, it objectively is a copy of Plaits. Behringer credits MI for all the borrowed code on their own website. It's more than just Plaits, sure, but it contains Plaits within it, as a core element.
Yep, a bunch of whiners.
