As per the title. Both ran for about 15 minutes each, edited down to 5 minutes each. The props on the Shackelton appearing to to slow down, become stationary and even go backwards is a product of how their speed interacts with the shutter speed of the camera. If anyone knows how to fix this so they look like they do to the eye,I'd be happy to hear from you.

Just a little experiment I've been wanting to do for some time now.Aircraft videos with the appropriate ATC audio all mixed in at the right time. This is one of the three daily Emirates A380 flights into Gatwick. To get the best quality audio,it was recorded at home using an SDR dongle straight into my PC. I messed up with the sound at Gatwick as I forgot to plug the external mic (with windshiel...

Pleeeeeeeeaaaase may I use this Video for caritative / charitable purpose?
As long as I get a name check yes you can.
@@chrisplunkett2814 Thank you so much! Just to avoid any misunderstandings: by "get a name check" you mean that you want me to mention you as the source and owner of the video in the video & description. Would that be OK with you? And to introduce myself: some friends and I organize fun events with live music (two bands, one of them a heavy rock trio) and with the net proceeds we want to provide affordable housing for people in crisis situations. We promote these events with our videos. God bless You!
This Sound is HOLIDAYS for my Ears!
Great vid!
Thanks!
Nice
One of the most beautiful sounds in the universe!
Indeed it is!
the closest thing to watching the real titanic engines in action. I wish I could see it at speed.
Like to see one of these nostalgia FC's with a 50 gallon pump/direct drive/single 44 mag combination in it. Now that would be just right !
I agree, but that would probably take it out of nostalgia rules?
going here may 21st 2023.
Cool,hope you enjoy it!
It worked for me, and the suspense angle is good too. Just get that hedge chopped down so we can see it land? ;-)
4yrs gone so fast!! She just woke up from her winter rest , new battery and smiles ahead
Cool,glad she's still fit and healthy!😃
Amaizing how you put v 8 american engine in a small Mini car. you are artist .....there is not enough space to put too big engine in front....I had a mini 1300 de Tomaso turbo and i know it peace buy peace
Nice! I love those old Citroens, we'll put this on our itinerary if we head SW.
You won't regret it.Maybe time it with one of the breakfast meetings they have when you get lots more nice cars driven once a month on Sunday.

@@huseyinsen6298 It works on any car that has total close on all windows that works from holding the key round in the drivers door lock when you lock it.
Such an amazing piece of machinery! It was an incredible experience watching the engine pumping on Saturday! Well filmed and edited video again!
Thank you!
Wow - that is an absoloute treasure to see working as intended!
It certainly is!

i have videos like this
Absolutely brilliant ❤️ love it
Thank's Alison,glad you enjoyed it!
6:01 - that was nearly a whoopsie overtaking at a junction! What is it that makes those cars sound so good - is it just the very large engines?
Indeed it was a very bad bit of over taking,if the car driver hadn't seen him doing this he'd have been embedded in the side of the Polo. They are mostly big engines (5 litres or more) but that is the characteristic sound of a V8 engine through an unrestrictive exhaust system.
@@chrisplunkett2814 aha! The missus loves cars like that, I'll play it for her later

Thanks.I'm up there again in about a months time,so will see if I can do any better.
@@chrisplunkett2814 we will probably bump into each other at some point! I'm going to use my time to try and produce better quality videos, but I am enjoying your back catalogue as an inspiration at the moment :-)
@@Simon_Nonymous Thank you again and yes I'm still practicing video production as well. It's a LOT more difficult than still photos ever was.
@@Simon_Nonymous Also I think part of the problem could have been I was shooting videos in P or Program mode where it makes all sorts of adjustments without me needing to help it along.I'm going to try the more suitable (according to the experts) full manual mode for the next ones.
@@chrisplunkett2814 I'd agree that's a good thing to do... my DSLR is very intelligent but like HAL9000 tries to do what it thinks best evevn if it's not what I want!
I prefer watching the nostalgia funny cars!

Just for the record, and a bloody funny story: In 1972, at age 18, I saw my first Mini V8 (in Australia). A country town mechanic I knew owned a wreckers yard so he had access to anything he wanted. He put a Chevy 427 in the rear, over the wheels. Gearbox came forwards, giving an upside down gear pattern! The ONLY THING left standard was the original shell, with pretty shit paint work. It was the immaculate sleeper. The only noticeable thing was that the engine box filled the whole back seat up to the windows. He scribbled on the boot (the trunk lid) "Mini V8" in green felt marker. He got it fully certified by an engineer and it passed legal road registration ... impossible nowadays. One day he and his wife went to move some house furniture for a friend. The Mini towed a 6' x 4' box trailer and the Valiant (the Aussie Chrysler badge) Hemi 6 x 245cui x 4 door sedan towed a car trailer for the move. On the way there, the Valiant blew a piston -- end of plans. So he winched the Valiant up onto the big trailer, chained the little box trailer to the back of the big trailer, and pulled the fkn lot towards home with the Mini V8. His local country policeman going in the opposite direction (not knowing what was inside the Mini) saw their little road train, turned around and then pulled them over. Cop: "What the fuck is going on here, Barry?" Barry: Well the Valiant blew a piston, so I had to get us all home by dark". Cop: "On ya way Barry. I can't book you. They wouldn't fucking believe me!" True story.
As a large fan of LBCs I really like this insane Mini! I've a SBC MGB that pales in comparison. NICE!
Geepers; amazing fit!
half weight of car is engine :D
Right lane shut off at 300 ft !!
absolutely stunning, could you imagine that coming out the factory? Ferrari, Aston, mercs they would all envy the Mini. Awesome build.
Very nice 👍 Mini the only thing I don’t like is that fenders and the wheels stick out to far. Would be much more 😊 nice if it looks natural so no one knows what’s under the bonnet but very very nice car 🚙 indeed
I wonder what the purpose of this vid = TO much time on someone's hands
'TOO much time on someone's hands' I wonder what is the purpose of this comment, too much time on someone's hands maybe? Apart from my watermark, this video is as it came out of the camera and hasn't been edited in any other way.Total time taken including uploading to TH-cam about ten minutes to show how a slower by the rules of drag racing nostalgia funny car does against a full on pro funny car.
@@chrisplunkett2814 that's 10 mnts you will never get back

I wonder what was the purpose of moving the comments…
I haven't moved any comments,I don't have the power to do that.A TH-cam glitch sometimes removes the first comment for no reason. In quite a few cases it shows '1 Comment' but that comment isn't visible even to me.

Is this an old build? Seem to remember seeing one years ago. I think the driver sat in the back seat of that one.
