Loving your videos bro! You taking proper care of the animals and love what you do!
@@georgegeorge3557 Thanks bro! I really appreciate that, it means a lot!
@@georgegeorge3557 I couldn't agree more 😃
This episode was awesome (as always), my brother 😃 I really loved the flow of it 😁 Can't wait to see all of the snakes this Friday 🫶 And you as well, of course 😜
@@Westbayreptiles Thanks brother! 😁 That's awesome to hear 😁 Yeah it's going to be awesome! Haha of course 😜
Awesome collection I dry my feeders with a towel, keep them warm under a heat lamp which dries them even more.
@@DustinLikesJiujitsu Thanks man! That's a pretty smart system, and better than what I do. Sadly I'm a bit too lazy to do that. So I'm sticking with my high tech coffe filter solution for now!
Awesome new snake. My wife and I just went to a venomous show yesterday, but I didn't bring anything new home. Maybe next time. Yours is really nice though.
@@jayweiland Thanks! He's really stunning. Oh really? That sounds like a lot of fun. Too bad you had to leave empty handed, but umfortunately we all have to do that some times. Fingers crossed for next time! He is, I've really missed having snakes like this
Awesome video brother 👌 The new snake is absolutely gorgeous, and the enclosures look really good 😃
@@Westbayreptiles Thanks brother 🙌 Yeah I can't stop looking at him! And the enclosure is pretty decent 😁
Thanks for the video! I always love seeing the animals, especially the copperhead, as you know. Lol Have a great day, my friend. Stay safe!
Thanks, Jay! That's great to hear, and I know how much you love the copperhead, I should feature him more for you haha. Thanks, and the same to you my friend. Stay safe as well!
Awesome as always my brother 👌😊
@@Westbayreptiles Thanks brother! 🙌☺️
Good day, Tommy. I love that copperhead. One of my favorite venomous snakes out there, especially since they are native to where I live, so I can appreciate them in their natural habitat, and I do come across them in the wild from time to time when taking walks. I also love when my snakes poop in their water bowls. It's like they are using the toilet kinda. LOL Just dump it down the toilet and clean it out with chlorhexidine, then good to go. Haha. It can stink pretty badly though. Have a good day, buddy. See ya in the next one.
@@jayweiland Good day to you too Jay. I love him too, he's such a beautiful animal. The love is only one sided though haha. And I totally understand that, Copperheads are so cool, and I've daid it before, but I'm so jealous that you get to see them in the wild! Yeah, the poop in the waterbowls is.. great haha. But you're right, it kinda is like they are using the toilet! Yup, that's pretty much what I did, with a lot of gagging from my end. I can't stand the smell! Thanks, have a good day as well, and I hope you'll enjoy whatever the next video is about!
Glad to see a video from you. Hope you're feeling better. Enjoy your day bro.
@@jayweiland Thanks man! Yeah I'm feeling a lot better. Energy levels could be better, but I'll get there soon enough. You too bro!
Awesome that you are back and feeling better my brother😃 And also Awesome video 👌
@@Westbayreptiles It feels great to be back and to have my health back 😁 Thanks brother 🙌
Glad to see you back. Hope you're having a good day, and hope you've been well. I'm actually leaving today to go on vacation for a week with my lady, where I'm going to propose to her! It's our 5th anniversary today. Had to clean all my snakes and give my sister a crash course in snake and lizard care yesterday so she can care for all my babies while we're away. Keep the vids coming.
@@jayweiland Thank you, Jay! And I hope all is well for you as well. That sounds amazing! Congratulations on 5 years, and I'll keep my fingers crossed that she'll say yes! Oh you're very lucky to have a sister to step in for you like that, I could never ask a family member, not even my brother. That's the sucky part of being the only one with venomous experience in the family.. I will try my best to keep the vids coming!
Also, I loved this comeback video 😁
@@Westbayreptiles Thanks! 😁
Welcome back to the TH-cam game, my dear brother ❤️ It's so awesome to have you back and that we went to the Malmö expo together 😃
@@Westbayreptiles Thanks brother ❤️ It feels good to be back, and the expo was awesome! We are going there again, that's for sure 😁
Good morning, Tommy and brother. Just wanted to comment for the youtube algorithm. Having my coffee before work, so thanks for the video. Enjoy your day.
Good morning Jay. Oh that's so nice, thank you so much for that. Coffee before work is nice, and extra nice with a video to watch. Thanks, enjoy your day as well!
Thanks for the video. I love the copperhead. I found two copperheads out together on a walk recently. I wish i could share the picture here. Have a good day, bro.
No worries man, I appreciate the support man. Yeah he's one of my faves. Oh really? That sounds awesome, I'm so jealous of that. I wish you could as well. Thanks, you too bro!

Good to see you again. Are those all super dwarf retics? They are beautiful.
Same to you. They are a dwarf/superdwarf mix. Yeah they are, I really love them
I love the videos keep it up. My favorite venomous snake i work with is colletts snake.
Thanks man! Oh I would love to have a Colletts, they are so awesome, but super hard to find!
Awesome as always my brother 😃 And im pretty sure that the monocled cobra doesn't like the box🤔 And it's really good that you actually show that it doesn't always go as planned!
Thanks brother 😁 Yeah, I think so too actually 🤔 I figured it was for the best to show that working with animals isn't always smooth, all about being transparent!
Thanks for the video. My weekend was pretty uneventful. I had to take one of my boas to the exotic vet yesterday and she was put on antibiotics for a problem she's having. Today is my Monday, so back to work. Enjoy your day.
Thanks for watching. Oh I see, I really hope the problems will get fixed by the antibiotics. Nothing worse than a sick animal. Good luck at work, and I hope you emjoy your day as well!
Also thats an insane amout of moister you got in their bro. You mentioned the potential for RI occurring from this but may also lead to fungal infections like scale rot. The climate of india where they are In dynamic to, is more moderate than tropical. Some seasons being really dry.
I don't always mist as much. The heaviest misting is what's being shown on video. It does actually varies quite a lot in there. And I do mist a bit more in the colder months, it gets insanely dry over here
@@tommysserpents Texas?
@@AlexDoucet Sweden
@@tommysserpents oh shit? How are the laws there
@@AlexDoucet The laws are pretty good here. We can have pretty much everything, but each county has it's own rules. Where I live you need a permit, a seperate room, labels and locks. Pretty much the standard stuff
Not trying to be one of them know it all venomous keeper police, but reaching in the enclosure with out removing the animal first is bad practice. And add in the fact that the animal is a naja naja in shed could potentially be a fatal one. But maybe you continue to do this without anything ever happening to you ( after all its your snakes and your choice to do whatever however you want) tho now some younger individual new to the hobby sees this and and picks up this habit and may not be as lucky to get away with it like you did. And every bite in the hobby weather fatal one not is bad news for the whole community. I have my own bad habits from time to time and make a Conscious effort to not repeat these actions. I definitely wouldn't put on the enter net where I would just be opening myself up to attacks by swarms of holly-er than crist venomous police that find anything wrong with how you keep and interact with your animals no mater how safe and professional it maybe. Keep up the post tho man. I love seeing others collections. Just keep in ming weather it's intentional or not the content we post ass influence on others.
Thanks for the concern, and I get what you mean. If this was the monocled I would do it differently. I know the risks with these animals, and I ofc keep a close eye on it when I do stuff like this. I have no idea if I can keep this up as it grows up though, behaviour can change. And maybe I should change too. I'm not sure how easily influenced people actually are by watching videos like this, but it would be a shame if someone got harmed, or worse, by being influenced by me
@@tommysserpents can always conter act it by promoting educational content with an infesus on on proper and safe handling and keeping techniques.
@@AlexDoucet Yeah, I have been thinking about that for a while. I just haven't planned it out. But it is for sure something I want to do
Accidents unfortunately happens sometimes, and when you are working with animals you never know what could happen. But as you said my brother, luckily they are immune to their own venom😊 And this was so freaking awesome 😃!! Loved seeing the female retic almost hunting her food🤘
Yeah, it's part of working with animals. It won't go smooth all the time. Yeah, it's very lucky actually ☺️ Thanks brother 😁 Yeah she doesn't wait around to get served. She makes shure she'll eat 🙌
Beautiful snakes!!
Thank you so much!!

This episode was awesome my brother 😃 Loved seeing you soke the little danger noodles 😁
Thanks brother 😀 Yeah, it's always fun to give them a little bath every now and then 😁
Greetings from Charleston, South Carolina. Glad to see another video and that you're doing well. That's a beautiful copperhead. I love agkistrodon genus. They are native to where I live, and I find them all the time when I go for nature walks. Have a good day.

Sorry you feel that way, I'm trying something new. But I feel you, more snakes, less anything else
@@tommysserpents 💯💯💯ya something special so don’t keep it normal brother & I hope ya make & keep anti venom around when ya keep poison snakes 🐍 I had a few ball python’s (around 40) & a couple of boas & corn snakes but never anything poison As it’s not legal in my country 🇩🇰✌️💚🐍💯💯💯
@@New-2-420grow I'm doing what I can over here, and I'm trying to switch up the content so it's not the same every time. I don't keep anti venom around, it's super expensive and only stay fresh for a short time. I see, nice! I may have asked before so if you already answered this I do apologize. Have you ever been bitten by any snake wether venomous or not?
I don't think you have! But I have gotten a few non venomous bites, but only from a young Cali Kingsnake and a young Carpet Python. Got a bit of a warning from the Copperhead once though, so I defenitely am more careful now
Awesome episode brother😃 Kudos to you for pushing through even though you felt like crap 👏
