Lovely video, so beautifully photographed, its nice to see it again, I havent been for a while.Thank you.

When this place first opened up to the public, it was just weekends or specific dates. At that point I was taken there by my Grandmother and a few relatives. It was the place of local legend I suppose. I’ll never forget her saying don’t nick anything or graffiti etc. Only to find her and her sisters had signed the shields engraved on the main entrance fireplace, using said lead as a writing tool. It was all there, all that lovely old graffiti has been rubbed out over the years. As has all the American and Canadian stuff in the cellars. Whilst I admire the national trust., there is clearly an airbrushing when it comes to these places. Meh

His mother left him only Hidcote no income. He had to fight to get her money from trusts
