With the help of your video I managed to remove the sun visors without damaging them too, but i must say it was really difficult. It's definitely possible though.Either way you still owe me a beer! 😅

What did you do to fix the water leak issue?

Bought my Goldwing new in 2006, yesterday was the first time I ever had a problem with either of the bags opening....you've helped me a lot, thanks Bud! 👍 I did notice is that the left cable adjustment was on the bottom notch but the right was already in the middle notch, the middle is what fixed the left one.

Yes had the same issue with VW Passat ended up breaking one and I was lucky to buy two new replica ones from China for around $68 for the pair . I miss the days when a simple screw would hold these things in place . Also be wary of VW Golfs 5 and 6 they also have stupid threaded inserts which defy the ability to refit them with out lots of tears .

Tried adjusting / bending the loop. Tried fiddling with the latch like other videos suggested. After seeing this I tried it and it was quick and easy! Thank you this was super helpful. There is one thing to mention the plate that comes off has different screws for different holes, typical Goldwing engineering LOL. Just take note to put the screws back in the holes they come out of.

How frustrating is it when you hear "Nice bike!" then you go to open the saddlebags and they're nice and stuck shut. Thanks for the video.

Thanks for the video, I done the exact same thing on a VW Tiguan MK2 2017 r line, they use the same clips, I reckon they make these to be difficult hoping people bring them into the garage and charge them stupid money to fix and replace. The visors are very hard to find on internet, i got a set on a car breakers after ringing round for 2 weeks, mine where black as well to make it more difficult. I bought my second hand ones for 30 pounds each. Thanks again for video.

My local Honda dealer did not know how to fix this issue but your video helped me out a lot thank you so much.

The access to that bumper (called rod in the owner's manual) is not made for every hand/finger. I suggest carrying a flat piece of wood about finger-width wide and 20 cm long with you. A 22 cm section of a Folding Wood Ruler works good. You will also need a pocket knife or such to pry up the access plug.
