I don't buy that he wasn't a player. Saying you would marry someone isn't the same as actually marrying them. I'm guessing he liked the intimacy but was overwhelmed by the idea of commitment. Either way it doesn't seem fair to string all these women along if he had no intention of marrying any of them. Staying friends with all these ladies because "they were special" be damned. I love him as the rock god he was but he was likely a nightmare as a partner. Paula was probably even worse.

Michael & Paula's friend Geri Agar(may she rest in peace) told me that PY was determined to land Michael and actually visited a fertility clinic (as she had done when she wanted children with BG). Geri accompanied her; Michael had no knowledge of this. He was not the kind of man who would leave a woman if she should tell him that she was having his child.

I had read somewhere that Michael carried a lot of guilt and shame feeling he was the cause of breaking up Paula and Bob's marriage. And the autopsy revealed the fall caused brain damage, add to that reported drug use and relentless hounding by the press is a recipe for depression. He found himself in a very dark place he could no longer navigate.

When they started out asking about his suicide, his mama and sister were far too gracious - they should've said none of your business!

I don't know how long this interview occurred after Michael's death, but man those interviewers were harsh! Inappropriate too. I mean have a little sympathy for his closest family please!

Poor Michael. He should still be here. If he had never met Paula, perhaps he would still be around making music today. I don’t think Richard and Judy quite understood how to ask these types of questions, since criticism of Richard for his interviewing style is not new. But on the other hand…what exactly was going on that caused Richard and Judy to be like this?

I really don’t know why Richard and Judy were so popular and allowed to air for so long. They were terrible, judgmental and abrasive interviewers.

There is a lot we will never know. A happy man in a stable relationship doesn't kill himself alone in a hotel room. There were men in Australia that gained financially from Michael's death. Both these men were not present at his funeral. Shady business exec types. Like many out there who loved INXS, and did not know him personally, I have always felt sorrow for Michael's immediate family and the 5 guys in INXS - who knew him well. Imagine been in rehearsal and you get the news your best mate and frontman is dead.

I met Micheal in a nightclub, we were sitting at the same table and he spoke to me. I wish I had been a bit friendlier, dont know why I wasnt. Our paths crossed a few times. I lived in Kings Cross and would see him walking down the street on the other side, and he saw me too.

He was not the train wreck . How he allowed himself to be manipulated is mind boggling. You can see from when he went from being a happy successful man to being brain damaged from the cab driver to just the fighting with Geldof and the struggles with her divorce. I think he should gave dumped her after the first night. Dont get involved with a married woman with children not even divorced. Omg and she got pregnant not because he wanted a kid, she trapped him. And Michael being the really good nice guy went along with it. She was a mess and took him down with her. That and his health he was burnt out you could see it in his eyes. I just think they brought the worst out of each other.
