Does anyone know what their current mark downs are? Usually closing stores say 50% or something, but in fine print it says up to that percent off. While most of the items are actually around 10-20% off. I don’t want to make the hour long drive until it’s worth it!

Damn, didn't realize it closed so recently.

This doesn't surprise me, ever since the Fantasy Shop moved out to their new location, there really wasn't much draw over here at all. I'm still surprised those store fronts by the Walmart have never been filled since the Walmart remodel.

This was my local mall when I moved out here from NJ back in 2005. It's weird to see it slowly decline, but eh, it's to be expected I guess. I have a friend that used to work at the Sears here as well.

I moved from the Jeff City area to Oregon about 3 years and even then that Mall was sparse!! I'm surprised there's anything at all there?!

The Dillards at my childhood mall is apparently closing by the end of January 😢

Thinking I ended up at Mid-Rivers once while in the St. Louis area. Thank you for filming as much as you did on this. I miss Sears sometimes.

I've had church's chicken a couple of times they're ok i wouldn't say they're better than Popeyes or Bojangles but they're chicken is fairly good

Never been to one of these, but I’ve heard the food isn’t usually the greatest.

Other than V-Stock and Dicks the Sears wing is dismal. If it was not a main entrance into the mall they would probably wall it off over by the old Max and Erma's. I was there today, place was about as loaded with people as the Galleria which I also hit today, but with far less interesting stores to shop. I think as far as Sears goes if maybe they could bring in some kind of entertainment, and bring something back into the Tilt! arcade space it would help. It would also be nice if they could attract some more upper end stores instead of crap like some mom and pop stores some of which seem kind of half assed. There is not much to do around St Charles County when it is cold, the mall is still nice for now, but its fading from the place it was when I worked for RadioShack there in the late 90s when the place was hot still. Mid Rivers does not have enough of the stores that make you want to go to the mall unless its like today was a really crummy and cold day with nothing better to do.

I will never forget Chesterfield! I know I was in that Dillard's a long time ago. That whole story of it flooding interested me many years ago. When I visited as a child, I do remember the Sears and The Disney Store. Did CBL ever own this mall at one point? The whole boarding/closing things off theme seems the same.

Hi! I went to Chesterfield as a child! I definitely remember this store. Before 2005, there was an upper level food court with Chick-Fil-A and stuff. I was trying to see a picture to remember more of that as this food court was really close to Famous Barr's 2nd floor.

In my Theory these are pretty hard to find nowadays cause I actually spotted one last year when I was spot it one it was outside downtown phoenix.🥲
