I think The Wrath of Tiger Claw was supposed to air before the Pizza Face episode.

Furthermore, the whole thing with Raph and Casey is that Raph was projecting. It's clear Casey doesn't have anger issues. He was projecting his own anger on a fellow vigilante because he was still in denial about what happened earlier, while going over what Splinter said. It's always Raph starting things. I do like how they became friends through agro behavior and a love of fighting. I think thats better than simply sharing an anger management group session.

Raph took out Spike using the same move Splinter used on him.

First of all, Splinter explicitly told them to get the phone using reason and not force in order to teach Raph a lesson. That being said, I appreciate this reaction more than the last one because your complaints are far less petty and actually just an adult watching the first season of a kid show.

Yeesh. Roughest reaction ever. It's like you came on WANTING to hate it because you have a personal bias and preconceived notions, so you put up a wall against anything new.

This was the official series finale of the My Little Pony half of My Little Pony ‘n Friends probably because of the old 65-episode rule making the first season prolonged. Also, in this episode, all the First Tooth Baby Ponies in the collection by that name appeared except Baby Fifi. You might find that odd because she would’ve seemed to fit in perfectly with her French accent, but that also would’ve been ironic because the villain was French and wanted pets in order to mistreat them, so the villain might’ve gotten away with taking Baby Fifi instead of taking the Newborn Twins if Baby Fifi showed up!

Correction: Chiara Zanni voiced Daring Do not Spitfire.

Villains obviously cannot prevent or undo aging from the inside or outside all by themselves!

Hasbro made so many baby ponies with a first tooth but only called a few of them “The First Tooth Baby Ponies” and didn’t even make any unicorns with a first tooth!

The purple Pegasus pony shares her name with a unicorn from Year 2 and My Little Pony: Rescue at Midnight Castle. Some My Little Pony names have been recycled.

I think I see why this was recorded from years ago and now on TH-cam.

Mimic’s role in this episode was simply to be a guest star, she doesn’t appear in the background of the other episodes. Her toy, released as part of the second series of Twinkle Eyed ponies in 1986, is one of the most sought-after G1 ponies, and can fetch very high prices, due to her limited production amount and her unique coloration.

Congradulations on finishing G1! No easy undertaking XD It was unfortunate that we didn't really get more of the best ponies and fleshed them out. This episode is ridiculous but very funny, and so strange being the final episode. I'm curious to hear your overall thoughts on the episodes and your rankings. Also nice hat. ❤

Shady was in the movie but her role was to annoy Gusty and try to find Baby Lickety-Split and Spike with a purple bushwoolie. And then she was reunited with the other ponies and the human children to help find Flutter Valley.

Rarity has Sparkler’s cutie mark and Glory’s colour palette. Glory was the white unicorn with dark purple hair and a blue streak. She was the one on roller skates in Rescue of Midnight Castle. Sparkler was the pale blue unicorn with light purple hair, a red streak and a diamonds cutie mark. She is the one of the ponies who painted the welcome sign and got trapped along with Skydancer and Powder in Catrina’s snow storm in Escape from Catrina.

I think the shadows are supposed to represent souls being taken.

I don’t know if you know this but the G1 Specials, Movie and Animated series were a long commercial to sell the My Little Pony toys. I once talked to a fellow pony fan about a dislike about a little pony's personality. My focus was on the character's personality completely and the other pony fan was talking about the colour palette of the toy only.

Call upon the sea ponies is one of greatest songs in the G1 cartoon.

As you might already know, after the first story of this series The End of Flutter Valley (which was actually supposed to be a sequel to My Little Pony The Movie from 1986 and maybe therefore also the same length), the original regular idea was to run a 4-part story Monday-Thursday and a 1-part story on Friday, but after five 4-part stories, it was decided that the show had too many characters (which I wouldn’t disagree with because those who made this series noticeably couldn’t keep up with that many characters), so starting with this story, those in charge usually made two 2-part stories for Monday-Thursday for the remainder of the first season. You can kind of see that they knew how to keep up with the number of characters in this story!

This was originally intended as a pilot for an animated series, but it was given as a special instead. It was first aired in 1984 and it was the very first MLP G1 special, and the first of two TV specials. It was released on home video in 1984 by Children’s Video Library, a subsidiary of Vestron Video. Children’s Video Library also put out a series of children’s titles during the 1980’s along with a slew of Terrytoons on VHS.

I have the original VHS of this movie, and it was under Vestron Video in 1986. Vestron Video for those of you may not know was a home video distributor back in the 1980’s where they put a series of B-movies, horror films and cult classics like “The Gate”, “Blood Diner”, “Chopping Mall”, “Troll”, “Little Monsters”, and many more, including the most popular film was “Dirty Dancing”. Vestron Video lasted from 1982 until 1992 when it was acquired by Live Entertainment, and then folded into Artisan and finally evolved into Lionsgate, and by 2016, they brought back Vestron Video and re-released a series of films that Vestron put out during its run, but not this movie, it goes to Shout Factory (aka Shout Studios). After Vestron Video, the movie was later distributed by Video Treasures known for their Public Domain VHS tapes, and then later by Rhino Home Video in the 1990’s and 2000’s until it was distributed by Shout Factory (Shout Studios) for DVD.

I find the g5 songs are good still.

Well Cozy is just a Kid whose real strength is manipulating others but her new crowd already knows that's what she's doing and won't fall for it so that's why she's not as good a villain now.

Looks like Tirek, Cozy and Chrysalis are more power hungry than Grogar. He said he's more powerful than the three of them, but they could use the bell to defeat him. They could also use the bell to give them more power, and that could turn them into horrifying monsters. Grogar said the bell cannot be destroyed and the ponies won't stand a chance against it, so if they get a power up from it, they will be unstoppable. With that kind of power they could conquer all of Equestria. And after his defeat, Grogar will have to work together with the ponies, if they want to find a way to stop them, if they could. The ponies will also need the help of Chancellor Neighsay. He said the school should be for ponies to learn how to protect themselves, so maybe he cuold come up with a plan. Another option if the villains get busted. I'm sure Grogar will get really angry if he finds out about their plan, and as punishment he will send them back to Tartarus. Then Grogar will reign supreme. The villains have experienced friendship, so if they are able to escape from Grogar's rage, they have to give friendship a chance and work with the ponies to stop Grogar, and maybe they will be forgiven. A third option if the villains lust for power will cause them their demise. If they can't control the power they got from the bell, it could destroy them. Then Grogar will get all his power back. I don't know whats going to happen, but I'm sure it's not going to be pretty.

Please check it out if you would like, there is a link at the end of the credits in “Legacy” or you can look it up by title “The Distant Echo”. :) It was really interesting to be able to watch your review, especially it being a “blind reaction”.. it helps us understand that some audience members going into films, if they don’t know the answer to something, they may be distracted or talk over the answers to their questions instead of focusing on the film to get the answers there. We knew we were starting in the third act with this film, as it was an homage to the books, and we produced it with the fans of those books in mind. We hoped the opening crawl gave context and would answer questions going in, but we have found out that other fans have only given it a cursory glance and were lost as to who was who and what specifically was happening as well, if they were not familiar with the books. One of the things we did notice is that by the end of the film, you started researching certain characters and were racking your brain to remember what you could about what you knew from the “legends” books. So even though you likely didn’t give us a thumbs up, your reaction video was very insightful for us! Thanks! We hope you do one for “The Distant Echo” as well!
