Explain In English how you calculated yield point and elastic modulus
You may turn on subtitle. I manually encoded subtitle for this video.
How would you solve this using simultaneous equations? Like Sum moments at A and Sum moments at C? I have tried it but can’t get the equations right.
First set which rotation is positive when taking the moment, in this problem I assumed clockwise moment as positive.
Thanks for your efforts, Mr.But I have a problem, how did you get 30?What is the radius of this?
Given in the problem is 60 mm diameter. The 30 mm is the radius taken as half of the value of the diameter.
Thank u, sirr!
@@JOEN-kr6yz you're welcome po
@@EngrRyeTutorials Pa gawa po vid sir about trusses pa ano kumuha ng angles at forces.
Hindi po ba dapat sir isa lang magyyield between 83MPa and 55MPa? Nung nagcompute po ako assuming same angle of twist for steel and aluminum, naidentify ko po na 83MPa yields for steel and 11.2MPa po yung correspsonding stress for Aluminum.. resulting to T=140.74Nm.. mali po ba ako?
Then we also consider the angle of twist, after that we select the lowest value which is the safe load na kakayanin both ng aluminum and steel and not exceeding the allowable rotation.
@@EngrRyeTutorials gets po sir thank you po
Thanks from Iraq
You're most welcome. Happy learning!
Engr.
@@albertoarlando3008 Strength of Materials by Ferdinand Singer po
Where the 9kips came from
@@zakirhussainjokhio5478 P is equal to 3000 lbs (equal to 3kips), the force acting on the system at its end (steel and aluminum ) is 4P=12kips (tension) less P=3k kips (compression) on Bronze that gives you 9 kips

Hello po, Pano nagka F doon and not counter clockwise torque?
@@NoobCube248 statement po sa problem that the system is prevented from rotating. The force F is the force preventing the system to rotate and should be opposite of the direction of the given torque kaya sya assumed clokwise

Hi po, bakit hindi po naging 3 + 3/2 for the centroid from A?

yun po bang ginamit nyo na slope for df and bd is kalhati nung length po nila?
Inexpress lang po sa lowest term ang slope, though you can also use the actual length given sa problem
Hello can i have the link where you teach on how you trace the curve?
Here's the link for Curve Tracing: th-cam.com/play/PLq4ANc9XBUtf1RDl671JPostl_VOuV453.html
I just realized that we could connect a line from a point on the circumference of the shaft touching one side of the key to the other point also on the circumference of the shaft but touching the other side of the key, and this line connected by these two points is parallel to "b". the Arc length on the key that lies on the circumference of the shaft if the circumference were continuous does not make sense...
But that area is larger than that of using "b" so the mode of failure is higher on the thinner part of the key.
Thank you sir..Can I know which is the book you prensted on the screen for example problems..I am looking for any book with similar Building frame type analysis manually..Plz help me out
Structural analysis by Hibbeler
Paano mo matukoy sir na algebraic substitutions or trigonometric substitutions yung gagamitin during the solving?
Lagi po ba siyang sine of theta?
Any Greek letter naman po pwede gamitin aside from theta, most books use theta lang kasi.
thank you
You're welcome
it would have been better if you use english language for the explaination..dont undrestand indonasian

How do you manually isolate d in this case? also thanks for the video
I just used the calculator technique to solve for d using the shift solve function
Thank You so much sir ❤.I think you are a Filipino.. Nice to listen your voice sir, me from India 😊
Yes I am a Filipino. Thank you for watching my lectures.
why po na hindi na e multiply sa pi yung 70(b)(pi)?
You don't need pi for solving area of rectangle po, length times width lang i.e. 70b
Pano po nakuha yung 12000 lb?
Given po ang load na 4P sa figure and ang value ng P ay 3000 lb sa problem. 4(3000)=12000 lb
Good day, Engr.!
Using the safe load P computed. Use sigma (normal stress) = P/A. By then you can show that it does not exceed the allowable 30 ksi normal stress.
The music is too loud, so your voice can't be heard at all
bakit po T=fd?
To compute the Torque its force time distance po.
Input ka ng close parenthesis after ng angle 56.3, it should go like this cos(56.3)*6 and sin(56.3)*3.
Considering FBD for member AB.
You did not convert mm to m. Thank you
No need, it will just be cancelled out, regardless of mm or m. As long as it's consistent.
Thank you po need ko po for my quiz tomorrow hehe
You're welcome po
Thank you po!

Sir w =mg is formula w=lg ho ?
The given weight is lb/ft meaning you have to multiply the weight by length to solve for the total weight. If the given is mass in kilogram or lb mass then that's the time you use the w=mg.
