You assume way TOO MANY things. This will not work under a lot of circumstances....

When phasing between primary and secondary you stated you were reading from the X2 but after you phased you said H2 was your X3 bushing.

The one thing people should add to underground switching is an amp test. You want to confirm what you believe you are doing be it dropping or picking up load or making or breaking parallel. That and potential testing will keep you out of trouble.Just curious is the voltage you are measuring on the body a capacitive charge?

Can you hi pot a 3 conductor lead 600ft in a manhole 🕳 to see if one of the legs are faulted? And also does one side of the cable have to be grounded or does it have to be spread apart with no grounds ? Also the 3 conductor is cut on both side in the manholes it’s dead cable

I’m thankful for you providing this video which has very helpful. One question I have is related to short sticking. The PD10 sets I have all came with short handles standard . The universal stick or shotgun adapters were optional equipment if I recall. In fact I believe the instruction video was shown gloving the short handles while making contact with energized pad mount bushings. I can say I’ll be acquiring the zero ohm extensions along with other accessories after viewing this video. Thank you for all you’ve shared.
