I don't know how you know me, but you're describing me to a "T". I'm hooked I describe myself as a {Stelector} and I'm fine with it. I don't plan on getting rid of my stacking . I plan on leaving it to my grandkids.

Fantastic video Cobra. The first 20 mins I thought “has he been talking to my wife and is this video about me?” I’ve succumbed to Queens Beasts, Tudor Beasts and Kookaburras….. and I’m trying desperately to stay away from more sets, as you’re 100% correct. The first few are easy, but when you end up paying £60, £70, £80 to complete the set (Kooks), part of you wishes you never started …….. but then, you see the whole set, in their capsules, in a gorgeous wooden box, they’re lovely (just don’t filter your spreadsheet and sum the total of the 35 coins, as you will have a bit of a wince lol). Proofs, I have a couple, but haven’t gone down that rabbit hole. Stackers, again I have a couple, but only the things I like, and I’m not interested in building a massive collection. Colourised - again a couple, just the things I like. Pure collectibles (LOTR, Disney etc) - not for me (I hope !). Great video though, and I shall be recommending it to my mates who hear me talking about silver and gold, who say “I might get a few bits”. Great advice, great caveats, plenty to think about for a new stacker …. Thanks.

I started with international bullion as stacker then to make it more interesting themed pieces with higher premium such as dragons, limiting them to ca. 15% of stack

Hey mate! I’ve come full circle from starting with generic bullion then moving to higher-premium “cool” pieces etc.(never been a numismatic guy, so not many slabbed pieces in my collection). Now it’s back to the cheapest silver and gold bullion for me. 😜 👊🏻
