Mother Daughter Masquerade Ball. (A Fun Fundraiser)
The Mother Daughter Masquerade Ball, is taking place February 23th in the elegant salons at the Cornwall Civic Complex. This is a fundraiser and a special day where mothers and daughters come together to celebrate that special bond. “This will be an event unlike anything else in our community,” states Lisa Runions. “It will give mothers and daughters a chance to create memories that will last a life time.”
These ladies get to dress up in their favourite classic character and spend a magical afternoon together. We are asking all who attend, to show their whimsical side. Let their inner child materialize and join in with their daughters in some of the many fun activities.
But along with all the great things this event will bring to the community, we guarantee that all involved will have a wonderful experience that they will never forget while helping local community groups. Our hopes are that this event will become a family tradition for years to come.
Activities and Fun Events
What if you don’t have a mask, no problem. Just go to our art table where you can create your very own unique and stylish masquerade mask. The button making workshop with Debbie Keillar is always a favourite. If you love to dance, join in on the original glowstick dance challenge, led with the Dancing Stars who will be leading the activities on the sparkle stage! We also have some great songs with the cast of Matilda. There will be some theatre games for the kids. You can meet our fortune teller, and be pampered at the Aesthetics Booth with manicures by Aesthetics by Courtney. Take part in the Runway Walk, and use our scenic backdrops for photo ops.

This video was recorded by singers at the Dream Maker Productions Acting Music Camp. Young performers did all the vocals and filming. Instruments were recorded at Reel Thing Films and Sound studios. Some of the vocals were recorded at the Civic Complex. The whole filming process was done in about an hour and a half being that many other activities had to be covered at the camp. Cornwall is a shit hole anybody from Cornwall we call Cornwall trash I’m not originally from Cornwall but I work there I’m originally from Vancouver and I can honestly say that Cornwall is the worst place to live in my experience since moving to Ontario.
The worst city in Canada, didn’t know much about this city until a friend expressed their displeasure with living there, but looked around on Google Maps, my lord this is bad more akin to an failed American Rust Belt City

It's the smuggling capital of Canada! That's something to be proud of I guess
