Love the guided tour around your painted collection for 2024. Seeing them all laid out that was certainly impressive. I think this year I’m going to try and concentrate more on my MESBG figures and not get too distracted by making my terrain. 😂😂😂

Painted 348 models in 2024 total. In 2025 so far, I’ve painted 200 ish :) so much much better!😂

Very nice job, it was cutting it close at the end but you pulled it off. Its weird seeing you in a different room than the hobby background. Looking forward to the big stuff this year

You should really replay the 6th or 7th edition. It is super fun and the whole setting of the WFB world is just pure fun. I personally prefer to play WFB 6ht/7th edition. I even own a Limited edition rulebook for 7th edition. However, this set you show in the video I have only lately been lucky to get a complete copy of for a decent price. Man some are selling this set for the price of a kidney 🤪

Thanks so much for this great video! Currently trying out a few more head and weapon swaps on the rohan warriors. I'm quite keen to attempt it on the archers too, warriors 9 and 11 have great poses for that. Best wishes

I pre orderd the rohan warriors and now i already have ideas of how to make each warrior a little diffrent 😃 and the film is not something i would enjoy watching so I'm skipping it and all hero models that come with it... or thats what i thought before watching this, i think the heroes in the starter set could be made in some fancy looking captains 😃

I love the box, am building it myself right now. With this edition, I finally took the plunge into MESBG. And I love Rohan, so I bought Theoden and Eomer as well. The scale creep in the heroes is real, I think. Haleth is towering over Theoden. Hama is of same height, but he is supposed to be the little brother. The horses are bigger. Wulf's and the general's horse are supposed to be bigger, but as they are bigger than Haleth's steed, Theodens Horse looks like a pony next to it.

I wouldn't feel too bad about missing out on Haleths throwing spears, I haven't seen the actual throw do much and your not going to be supporting with him, He really wants to be up front in the thick of it

I ordered the starter set and another box of Rohan warriors… Voting with my money. Hopefully, the other plastic models in the range get a refresh because these new models are really out of this world

The new plastics to me built and paint into really nice looking models BUT - for a wargaming kit feel like several steps backwords. Poor contact points to bases without lots of pinning work for the tribesman. Very fine weapons that will be easy to catch and break. A very long constructions process. I'm sure with a slight redo of the poses, they could have been simplified and made less of a nightmare/far better for a starter set. To put into perspective, the new resin hero's have half the pieces of a warrior model.

I agree the Numenoreans should have gotten their own army box set with Spearmen and Archers. The Orcs should have more archers (or as many as other box sets). The Corsairs of Umbar would be better if they had a boat. The Arnorian Army should be broken up into Arthedain/Cardolan & Rhudaur

Last year I went for 100pts a week (40k) and just scraped it, this year I went for 50 and I've got a single Immolator to finish and I'll be done. Next year I think I'll pinch part of your idea and go for 366 wounds of models as it's mostly Knights and tanks on my to do list and I'm not sure they'd count as just one model lol

Changing systems halfway through the year probably threw me off quite a bit but no idea what my number will end up as. I’d quite like to clear the desk a bit before the end of the year - few half painted minis been knocking around since 2023 I think.

My target was 50, so a model a week (ish) It looks like I’ll end up with 83! And some of those are large character models too, so I’m well chuffed this year

I started with all the good intentions and then hit Summer. After that it all went Pete Tong. I started the two scenery builds for Weathertop and Amon Hen and after that Arnor so got distracted. 😂😂. I still achieved quite a lot of my backlog cleared though so I’m well chuffed with what I have done. So next year?😂. I’m just going to keep going. Crack on gang.

I think your list is pretty good! Personally would bump Uruk-hai and Rangers down to C. Uruk-hai are just too small, and their pikes are so easy to break. The rangers just look uninspired and have way worse outfits/poses compared to some of the metal ranger sculpts. I also think the Galadrim have much better sculpts than you give credit for, and personally I would go A for the infantry and B for the cav. But maybe that's just me!

Its just another refresh for GW to make a cash grab off of. Im not rejoicing. Honestly its kinda sad that yall keep sucking off GW for trying to find new ways to dig into your pockets. Crazy how great the games they made were before they started doing this. Kinda pathetic how trash they are now and how hard yall try to keep up with it.
