Chop!Chop! is a love for making dirty dusty bikes beautiful, and shaping broken boards back into kooked out wave riders.
It's a constant challenge, and the reward is always in the ride.

1979 Yamaha XS650 - "El Corazón Lleno" - $old, Thanks Charlie!

Clean title, current reg, lots of customization and intentional geometry, starts first or second kick after prime.
The riding position is upright and decently comfy, the longest trip was from SF to LA and back. Runs great, and is my reliable go-to for around town runs and mini adventures out in the backroads.
Specs:
POWER
- 650cc stock engine
- Pamco electronic ignition (I've never needed to adjust)
- Stock carbs, jetted for K&N pods
- 1.75" oversize headers with torque optimizers
- Reverse cone megaphones - great sound w/o annoying the neighbs
THE REST
- Drilled out dual-front disc, rear drum
- Custom "north road" style bars
- Powder-coated tank, fender, lamp, lamp mount, case covers, battery box...
- New petcocks
- Bates lamp
- Custom seat and pan
- Shorai li-ion battery (so light, so small!)
- Vintage Sportster tail light
- Hand-rolled rear fender, chopped
- Orig rims, 19" front, 18" rear mounted w/ Firestone D.C.s
- Plenty of intentional patina - in crust we trust!
