Wow Whale Watching from your motel room..... I should have turned left with you off the freeway last weekend! Great share mate!!
It was pretty special mate
Why would you replace a broken part with the same thing? Understand you have warranty but why not upgrade?
@@woohoonr I've ran OME for years and I rate them. So why change? Yep it broke but doing the tracks we gave done over the last 12 months could have happened to any shock
Could have. But it did happen to your ome. No way I'm giving them another chance.
@@woohoonreach to their own mate.
We bought one of these just a year ago and have nothing but problems with the electrics . It’s been back 4 times and they still have not fixed anything. But they say it’s fixed.
@@loobrad that sucks dude. We're slowly sorting ours
@@wewentthatawayadventures I’ve literally just spent an hour on the website with a tech guy tonight and he says it’s a fuse. And this is after today spending $1000 on new batteries as the ones in the camper, according to the guy who exchanged them, were stuffed.
@@loobrad whats it doing or not doing?
Some great tips there, well done.
The frustration of being noobies and not setting up and checking gear. Sound like a good trip.

Great trip m8, really enjoyed it, good fun on one stick.
Cheers mate, great to have you back
Some good fun guys Can’t go past a bakery lol See you in the next one 👍

If I had a dollar for every time I’ve seen a Chinese trailer with suspension issues……
I like the clothes hangers idea. I reckon I'll have to get a couple of them for my Telegraph X. What I do currently for clothes and food stuff is I bought a couple storage crates from 4wdsupacentre, one for clothes one for pantry items and they slide in under the camper in front of the left wheel. And they fit on top of the front section and tie down there for travelling, although the flimsy looking tie down rings there worry me and I think I'll be replacing them.
Beautiful location and camping right on the beach- can’t get better than that other than some fish to eat and a beautiful sunset
Certainly a spectacular part of the world
Love your honest videos. Down to earth and real. Not sure if you have tried 3 poles and double ropes on your annexe. That net work of poles to hold your annexe up is unnecessary. Had the same trailer by a different name. Give it a go. You’ll get 3 more beers in. Cheers guys.
Thanks a bunch we'll give it a go. Appreciate your support
Mate how can you run out of beer? Are you sure you are an Aussie? 🤣
Not my proudest moment

Currently watching the million dollar bogan doing the Gibb on Harleys.
Great video thanks. Can you tell me how long it took to drive from Tilpa to Louth? Cheers
It's around a 90 min to 2 hour run if the Tilpa to Louth Road is open.
Absolute garbage
Good vid Rob and team Really Enjoyed this one
Cracking video Rob, glad to have tagged along 😎
Glad to have you along mate
Vocab??? Where is it??
Why do Ozzie rivers flow upside down, in NZ the rivers have the mud on the bottom. 😂

Great video, what are the KW and Torque figures? Getting myself a Dmax soon.
Did you guys buy the trailer new or used?

I honestly would say that 90percent of small channels including myself have never do a course in film making or how to create content. You just need to find your niche, best idea is to watch a lot of TH-cam channels and see what they are doing. I stepped back from TH-cam for personal reasons and the channel plateaued out doing monthly videos from fortnightly. It’s never going to be easy, YT is saturated with channels. Just need to stick with it. I’m no expert, but I’ve taken a few smaller channels under my wing As I know how hard it can be and I like to see young - small channels grow.
Glad I’ve been and done it all before the woke people get hold off it and turn it to💩like every thing else they’ve been handed $17 to get into one arm point racist turds ! Ownership
How’s the condensation and how’s the stock mattress
Like all canvas tents if its all closed up the condensation will be there, opening the windows definitely helps. Stock mattress is not bad and how I use it most of the time when travelling solo. The other half likes her comfort and we take the Oztent stratus self inflating mattress to use on top of the standard mattress with is super comfy.
@@wewentthatawayadventures beautiful thanks mate, not much real world info on these bad boys online. Looking forward for my first trip. Do you open the whole thing up or just a few window half cracked etc ?? Going to be 0 degrees on my trip at night. Never been in that kinda weather before, let alone camping. Got my oztent rivergum xl, wish me luck
There are a couple of small vent windows above the door that can be left open even in the rain if you have the awning out. I tend to unzip the large window as well and peg the flap out to increase airflow without allowing a lot of breeze in of course if the weather is warmer I just open the whole thing up
@@wewentthatawayadventures thanks mate picked it today going to test it in the back yard haha
Hi does this fit inside the car I have a Mitsubishi Pajero or does it need to go on the roof racks?
Charcoal bbq is the best what are you talking about chemical taste, buy quality Heatbeads you’ll get quality bbq taste over gas bbq any day if you’re going to the effort cooking this way. Great video by the way
Keen to try this place out in my rig
You have lot to experience in you think NSW outback is great .
It is great We've done much of Australia but that doesn't change the fact that the NSW outback is a great place for people without a lot of time, experience and big budgets to experience the outback. Yes there's wilder more remote places to explore that doesn't make the NSW outback any less special
Great video and trip guys Got some great ideas for when I do it it's on the list
Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment, so glad you enjoyed the ep.
12 months on. Was it worth installing?
Worked well for the first couple of months then the rubbers began to come unstuck
I just went and had a look at the rv3 tent but the rs2 swag looks awesome because of the pack up size but hasn't got side windows and you can't stand in it....looking at the first 30secs of this video your clearly well clear of not hitting your head sitting under it but I'm thinking it won't attach to a awning off my car now will it because it only stands 1.4 high or something correct ?and If I can get this rv3 for $800 that's a bargain in my eyes I'll just have to buy a selfminflating double matress etc please tell me the height of the awning from the ground up ?
Hi it’s Troy hope all works out with the changes your u tubes are great the tilpa pub ect was great 👍
We bought a secondhand Telegraph X 12/2019 model earlier this year for $15k that had leaking shocks and fitted Lovells. They seem to go ok. I recently replaced the circuit breakers with Jaycar ones and that fixed most of the electrics. Fitted a Cruisemaster hitch so we all had the same on big trips but we knew what we were buying so still happy with it.
Yeah I removed the circuit breaker and replaced with a midi fuse, not going the Lovells kit I'm playing with some old man emu shocks and retaining the coils. We'll see how it goes
You're too clean buddy. haha
Im not sure if I can get there on the 18th but I will try. Cheers Steve
We have a austrack tanami 15 hybrid van which has the cheap Chinese shocks but at this stage they are holding out so far. But will upgrade one day soon. As for wheel alignment on a camper it’s pretty easy to do, I just did a search on TH-cam and found a couple of vids. Cheers and beers.
I just pulled out what I thought was on of the good shocks and I can depress it one handed on a bench. I suppose it depends on where you pull them on the bitumen they may hold up alright get them off road in places like the Gibb River road clearly they are not up to the task. It's been a learning curve but hopefully by documenting the problems we've had will help others to be aware of what these things can do and the changes needed to make them off road capable. We;re still learning. Thanks for watching
It was you and N's personality that got me hooked on your videos. Love your honesty during your trips. Also noticed your drone views improved! Looking fwd to your next adventures!
Love the down to earth content that you create and the video content is done well, audio is the one thing I think needs a little work. Good luck with the content courses, I’m sure it will help. Still looking forward to catching up for a beer soon.
