Thanks for sharing this awesome video with the tips! I’m planning to hike Panorama Ridge as well and I’m wondering besides the filtration water bottle, how much water did you bring to the hike? Also how much food did you bring? Thank you!
@@nicolekwon4270 how exciting! You will love it! I brought two 750ml water bottles, along with the hydration bottle. Which i believe i filled up twice and put into the other bottles. I find i drink more water than the average person, but id say go with more versus less than what you assume!
Hi that was so stunning! What was the location where you'll released the lanterns please?
Thanks so much for watching! I’m not sure the exact location as we took a bus there, but the specific event was called “Heritage Sky Lanterns Festival 2023”
I'm doing panorama ridge on August 17th and I am SO NERVOUS! I've only ever hiked Joffre Lakes lol I am not a hiker. I've been practicing walking around my neighborhood and I've done 13km so far. By that time my hips are so tight and achy. And I keep getting blisters on one foot under my toes. Ugh! Do you have any advice for me, and/or advice for avoiding blisters? At this point I think I may need to put tape on my feet lol I'm terrified to get blisters halfway to the summit
Ahh so exciting!! You will do great! For blisters I would either tape your feet, or bandage, but also bring bandages onto the trail with some first aid kit as well. Also, i just wore runners, which didn’t quite have enough grip, but i found them way comfier than hiking boots. Perfect case would be trail runners I think! You could also bring a change of socks if your socks get sweaty at all. Good luck and have a blast! It’s so beautiful!
@@jodiegordon thank you so much!!! :)
Amazing!! Enjoy your next trip there!!
@@jodiegordon Das werden wir, Dankeschön 🏄♂️
indonesia is potentialy mountain biking heaven but too bad mtb is not so popular and lacking of infrastructure or proper trek and loading.
Definitely! I wonder if mountain biking will become bigger and bigger there?
Such a great accomplishment! Keep grinding!
Congratulations! Triathlon is a life changing sport! Keep going! If you’re interested in some more Tri content, I’d appreciate a sub!
That’s awesome! I hope to get there someday!
You for sure can!!!💪💪💪
Do you think it’s suitable to do alone without a tour group?
You could definitely try but i think it would be super easy to get lost. It would be safe just might take some wrong turns aha!!
Hello! Thank you for your videos. I find them helpful. Is the crowd manageable during the festival week or are the tourist spots super crowded and stressful esp for the elderly? My mom had been wanting to go to Chiang Mai and Im thinking of bringing her this year but unsure if it would be okay to time it during the yi peng festival. It's magical as shown in your and others' videos but if Chiang Mai is just too crowded (yi peng areas and other tourist sites) then i might reconsider going another time. Appreciate your thoughts.
Tokyo must be a very fscinating city. How would you rate Disney in Tokyo compared to other locations? What is a non-free park? Is it that you just have to pay an entry fee? So nice that you had the possibility to undertake a cycling tour with your mom.
Disney in Tokyo was really cool, but Disney Sea was even cooler because it’s unique to Japan. And yes, you had to pay to enter the park aha, which I found odd.
Nice edit! Going soooon
Thank you! And you’ll love it!!
Love the film style! Such beautiful shots and the music was a perfect fit. What camera did you use ?
Thanks so much for the kind words! And I used a FujiX100V, a little shaky for video, but I just love how it looks!
I WANNA GO BACK. Even if just for the buns
Especially for the buns!
Osaka seems to have the best food you ever had. So hilarious to watch the row of umbrellas walking almost uniformally.
Ahah yes! The food was absolutely unreal!!
Which tour was this. Looks good.
Which tour through Infinity?
It's called Mt. Batur to Ubud Light Off Road 😁@@johdyk5291

How does this channel not have more subscribers.... these videos are great.
Thanks so much for watching and for the kind words!! Hopefully more subscribers eventually aha!
Brilliant video, felt like it was a nice aesthetic highlight reel.
Thanks so much! That’s exactly what I’ve been going for, having a lot of fun with this style!
Wow! What a temparature drop! Looks like you're really enjoying Seoul and having a blast trying out Korean food. So amazing how much you get when you order 2 meals. Once again time for a goof NFL match.
Ahaha always time for a good nfl match!
Lovely Video
Nice, my motherland and my favorite beer. Glad you took a stop to the Philippines ❤
Thank you! And yes, we loved it! Plotting ways to go back one day and explore way more of the country.
This looks like such a cool place! I've also heard that the Philippines is very LGBTQ+-friendly too. Was that the case in your and Chloe's experience?
It was awesome! And yes, we had heard that too, being very LGBTQ+ friendly. We definitely saw quite a few queer folks, but we were pretty careful on our end just in case. We didn’t show any PDA or anything like that, but it definitely felt safe compared to some other locations!
where did you stay in La Union?
We stayed at the Aureo Resort in San Fernando, but spent a ton of time in San Juan, mostly at San Juan Surf Resort too! If you want to lay back and relax I’d say go with Aureo, but if you want to surf or party go with San Juan Surf Resort!
@@jodiegordon Thanks! will check the place and go there this month 😁
Seems to have been a good decision to include the Philippines in your travel programme. There also is always time to watch a good NFL match.
Ahah couldn’t agree more about the NFL, and yes, we loved it there!!!
Great review TY!
❤❤❤absolutely love your delivery! Thanks for the great tips
Looks like you had lots of fun!
Thank you!! It was a blast!
The outskirts offer amazing things too. Rent a bike and explore it, highly recommended!
Definitely a good idea!! Next time!
super helpful tips on this road trip
So many amazing places to visit in Hanoi. Glad that Chloe was able to accompany you for most of the time. Very interesting and important to go to see some local museums to get an overview on history, although sometimes somewhat biased. Awesome that you went to see the famous Train Street. Sorry that you weren't allowed to visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum due to different clothing regulations between males and females. Always great to try out local food and drinks.
Thank you for watching!! And yes, so much to see and do there!
🥰You are sooo CUTE! Happy to see Thailand with you.💕 ✨ 😍Happy New Year 2024.🎉🎊 💖😻Wish you and your family a happy new year!😘💕🎇🎆
I'm Thai, I like your videos. ❤❤❤🎉🎉
Thank you so much!!! So glad you like them!
Bangkok is an amazing city with so many beautiful venues. Great that you were also able to get a glimpse into the sadder past of its history. I admire these awesome elephant pants.

Aha thank you! Well deserved!

Ahah fair!! Lucky to not be there during burning season!
love the vid
Thank you!!
Stumbled across your channel, and wowed by your content ! the video is incredible , love your editing!! curious what camera you are using and do you use any filters or setting to get such a warm shot? keep up the great videos , ive recommended you to several friends !
Ahh thanks so much for the kind words and encouragement!! I use the Fuji x100v for most of my filming, which funnily enough is not at all meant for video, but I love it so much I force it to work aha! As for colouring, I add a bit of warmth from within the camera, and then basically no colour correction in post, minus sometimes brightening some clips up.
Thanks for the reply! keep up the great work@@jodiegordon
Really great video, love the shots and editing. I'm heading there in 2 days, with my Fiancée to stay for 1 month, so really nice to see such a strongly positive video about it. Weirdly enough, your locations and order of travel are almost identical to ours. We're from Ireland/Northern Ireland, so we even started our trip from there.
Aha amazing!! Love that you are doing a similar route! And you will love Chiang Mai, it’s an amazing city, and a ton to do outside of it too! Also, love Ireland, so cool!!
Just a coupla cuties munching on Khao soi 🥲
The best recommendation ever!! Thinking about it as I write this comment.
Wow that lantern festival was absolutely beautiful! And kind people are the best! 🫶🏼
The temples look absolutely beautiful! The Thai food seems very delicious. Happy anniversary! Although the food, as you wrote, was just average, I hope you were altogether satisfied with the recommendation.
Thanks for watching, and yes, the temples were absolutely beautiful! Definitely satisfied with the dinner experience all together!!

Welcome to Thailand, I am so happy you enjoyed Loy Krathong and Yi Peng. I caught myself smiling when your lantern lifted off into the night sky. Thank you for that beautiful moment, I felt a heavy burden was lifted from my heart with your lantern! Loy Krathong and Yi Peng are celebrated in the 12th Month of the lunar calendar, when the river tides are at its highest. This is due to the waters from mountains of norther Thailand reach the river, and the moon is close to Earth, it's like how certain cultures celebrate the equinoxes, Loy Krathong and Yi Peng are kind of linked to geological rhythms of the land but tied to the moon and monsoon, since the Thais sometimes also call themselves an amphibious culture. Hope you enjoy your stay in Thailand.
Thank you so much for watching and for the extra information. Thailand is such a beautiful country, we are loving it here!
