Lol dont pick the warding
LOL 😅 a blank key 😅 ... but the short key pins will leave you a lot of room to play with on the driver pins 👍 Well done SPPing it as well 👍 Puzzling with the driver length, thanks for your analysis 🙏
Nicely done
Nice collection of locks, man. That safe is particularly interesting!
I spy a Mick410
good eye
Interesting
Early bird gets the worm, that little safe is cool
Is theyre a reassemble video by chance ? I have this lock gutted to progressive pin or i thought lol now im not confident on how to put back together
short answer is no, but if you can pull it apart in a controlled way you can get it back together again. its the same process just in reverse.
@HVLogic lol In theory yessss ,it's ok thank you 😊
@@Lockjunkie best of luck
@@HVLogic Thank youuuu🙏💯❤️😎
@HVLogic hey so u were right lol 😆 I liked ur theory in theory lol 😆 I know what was making this impossible 😅 I need a pinning shoe to reassemble 😉
It’s likely a bad temper on the steel rather than the metal itself
Came here from your interview, nice picking. Noob here & only just starting out with lever locks so this is very helpful, cheers
Beautiful looking lock. Where'd you pick that up HV?
if you are lucky you might still be able to find one on amazon.
Is it possible for the Hampton and Dexon models, sir? Please help.
are you asking is a lishi tool exists for those brands? I would guess not, they really only exist for major brands. They do also take skill to use, so if you are probably better off with a standard lockpicking set that will work on the vast majority of locks not a lishi that only works for a single kind
Well picked! Very swift 👍 It is a beautiful lock to have in the collection.
for a lock like this picking was never really the point. it really is pretty
Great looking lock, well done
Beautiful lock. Looks like the same pinning as the abus titalium. Cheers
Doch, es sind 8 Pin!!! Guter Job!🎉🎉🎉
Nice! Cool 8 pin lock🎉
Those are annoying bunch. Great pick!
I don’t think I have picked an 8 pin. Very interesting
Where can I get one of them stands from
Very nice
Great video
You wouldn't want to file it thinner, you would want to beat it flat to keep the strength.
Was kinda scared when he stuck the wire in the door bc of the high voltage sign 💀
What an awesome selection of goodies from J. How cool are those poker chips!. We can have a taste off between both our J Gabriel packages. He sent me some very nice yummies. Thanks for sharing, cheers
iv only been into a bit of the food so far but its all fantastic. and yes the chips are very nicely done
looks much better than that vegemite shite 🤣
J gabriel packages are legendary.
Fantastic
Cor blimey and good grief - what a package to receive from the US and not a breakage - Fabulous mate 👍 🍻 🍻 🍻
I found an old 110/40 lying around at my mother's place, and I have spent days trying to pick it with no success. So I thought I would go buy a brand new 110/40, and that one I figured out in 10 minutes. It was very straight-forward. I don't know what the difference is between the old one and the new one. The old one is maybe 5 or 10 years old.
no difference, some locks are just pricks and way harder than others for no good reason
Very nice - I enjoyed that mate 👍 Liked those serrated ice-cream cones very much indeed - I'm definitely going to do one or two in my next challenge lock 😍 Cheers and all the best to you and yours 👍 🍻 🍻 🍻
Wow, serrated hell.
Very nice picking and Albert did a great job making the CL. In chambers 5 & 6, there were very serrated pins, almost like screws. Were they screws or just finely shaped serrated pins?
nah not screws but well serrated
What a beaut. Thanks for showing it...
There is nothing more beautiful than a Kromer Protector ;-). Nice video.
one of the true pinnacles of locks
That’s interesting
Good pick, cool pins esp. for a first go!
Does this snapgun only work for the specific type of lock?
the whole point of a snap gun is it works on any pin tumbler lock you can fit it into. presuming the lock designer hasnt put designs in to prevent their use like antibump pins
@@HVLogic thank you, i want to make one and try it for a fun experiment.
Nice cl lock and nice video
It became half keyless by a serendipitous accident 😂 I might have bricked it and needed to get the core out so I could take the cap off and free the drivers, and the only way I could got the key through was to dremel it off.
Pretty nice for a first CL,,, nice quick pick mate👍😁🐝
Devious.
I made a very amateur copy of this lock 40 yrs ago after reading its history so fantastic to see it picked. looks hard. not even the LPL has picked one of these.
Interesting
I'm thinking of a few people, dependent quarter, yabende, Lock Noob, Dr Hogmaster,. among a select few. definitely excellent work on it. don't worry brother, I won't send you Dog.Chit, that was decided about 2.years.ago when the possibility of it being made by your quick response of " NO! " , lead Paracentric to give it the name. I will be eventually sending you something enjoyable though and not a challenge lock 😁
I don’t usually get excited about challenge locks, but I must admit that this one does look particularly interesting… 🤔
Doctor Hogmaster, I have to admit that that would be one heck of a challenge lock to tackle. If you're talking about the Medeco CL, I can ask who I am sending it to to reach out and possibly loan it to you. That is, if you're interested in Dog Chit.
@@j.gabriel8573 I was thinking about this “pinball” lock. A medeco CL seems like it was conceived of in a fever induced madness 😉
You’ve said it all and that is one crazy lock. Just beautiful craziness there. I wonder about overlifting picking. Luck is going to play a huge part in this lock. Great job Pinball! ✌🏻🌶🍻
i spent a solid hour attempting over lifting
That is really a special lock. I'm not sure how you'd go about picking it successfully either. I love all the details he went through including the gutting manual and the specialized follower. Thanks for sharing this!
That looks suuper difficult 😲 I only ever tried a sleeved one until recently, but much more simple than this one!
the sleeve being able to move that little bit makes all the difference
The engraving on that is really well-done, what a beautiful CL!
That's a very impressive piece of machining
