Same rider, same track, 2 bikes. One is a 2005 YZ125 big bore (144c) and one is a 2018 KX250F. The YZ video was taken in the morning and the track was wet and slippery in places. The KX video was taken later in the day when track conditions were a better. The total difference in the lap times was 2 seconds but 1 second of that was in the first turn. One lap at The Pit on my 2018 Kx250f. My lap time is about 1:35 but I see a few places to make up some time so I will be working to get my lap times down on the next visit. I also hope to take my Yz144 and see how my times compare 2-stroke vs 4-stroke. I have always said that I think I'm faster on a 4-stroke but I love riding the 2-stroke so let's see!

2018 Kawasaki KX250F chasing a 1996 Honda CR250R at The Pit MX track in Tool, Tx, December 2023. We got a lot of rain the week before so the track was muddy in a few places but mostly it was in really good condition.
