Yeah i hate that dying glitch. Had to put the weakest boss with one of the strongest and they were the only 2 based on playable characters so i had to put them together

Yes that is a glitch it probably has something to do with gigabowser trying to respawn but bosses can't respawn so he just dies over and over

Master Hand has an advantage in fighting both fighters and bosses due to his skills. It might be stronger than Crazy Hand.
