People forget the context because the result itself is unbelievable, but when you consider that Liverpool were missing a peak Bobby Firmino and Mo Salah when they needed to score goals, when you consider that Liverpool were in the middle of an epic title race with the best Man City team ever, and the night before City scored a relatively late winner against Leicester to go back top of the league to break Liverpool hearts, and when you consider this was a Barcelona team that won La Liga and finished 19 points ahead of Real Madrid, and had a team containing Messi, ex-Reds Suarez and Coutinho, Busquets, Alba, Pique, and ter Stegen, only then can you comprehend the enormity of what Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool achieved this night.

listening to this just before klopp’s final game in charge. after istanbul, i thought that i’d never see days like it again. but i did. and it’s all thanks to klopp. i am not ready to say goodbye to him. all i can say is: thanks for creating memories that will live with me until my dying day and then echo on forever and ever.

Ive been to one match in 20 years and it was this, i was offered the ticket for £100 each. Told my mate theres a possibility that this could be the greatest game thats ever been. It was, i walked sown breck road after the game went in every pub and boy did we get some love, we shared some love and i had so many fone calks jist wanting to share the emotions with me. As far as normal life goes, this is the most ive ever felt anything, truly blessed
