I thought I'd share an update of what's been going on these last few months.
Easiest headcovering style!
มุมมอง 50ปีที่แล้ว
Hi everyone, and I hope you're doing well. This is my go-to headcovering style because it's quick and easy, and if you're new to headcovering, this could be a good place for you to start. Also, I know that some Christian women may question wearing a hijab under cover or scarf but I wanted to clarify that the word hijab, just means cover or barrier (nothing spiritual) I personally wouldn't wear ...
Health update! plus, what are your plans for the weekend?

Head Covering Testimony!
มุมมอง 760ปีที่แล้ว
Hi everyone! In this video, I am sharing the reasons why I started headcovering and continue to do so. Have you ever heard of headcovering in the bible? and do you? Why not share in the comments below xxx Also, apologies! I should of said 1 Corinthians chapter 11.
Day in the life!
มุมมอง 42ปีที่แล้ว
Hi everyone! Here's a short day in the life video. I wasn't going to upload it at first, because it's totally out of my comfort zone and I am pretty awkward in places lol, but I wanted to try something different and my daughter spent a lot of time editing it (her first time) and I am so proud of her, so how could I not include it. This may not be perfection, but memories have been made and prec...
My Testimony!
มุมมอง 69ปีที่แล้ว
Hi everyone! In this video, I share a bit about my background and how I gave my life to Christ.
Thank you for sharing, and being vulnerable. I really feel for you with all you’ve had to deal with. 😢. I am praying for you. God will make a way, he is our faithful Father. Please hold on.
Aww, thank you 😊 xxx
The simplicity of it is perfect!
Am 23 years old I want to take you as my mother can I
Hi there, and welcome 😊 Here, if I can help in any way xxx
Please have you cut off your hair please
Nope, I have all my hair underneath, although I have heard of some people who headcover, have chosen to shave all their hair off.
Thanks for sharing this testimony! I am researching because the HS is pushing me in the towards it, and I want to submit and do so, but I want to make sure it is for godly reasons and not spiritual gluttony. This is definitely going in the FOR category.
Hi there! And thanks 😊 I'm praying that God guides you on this journey 🙏🏽 if you're on FB. There are a few headcovering groups where you can meet other headcovering ladies and those researching it, and it's a good place to ask questions, etc. Although I'm also here to help if I can xxx
I'm so sorry that you don't feel well. :( I am also learning this lesson RIGHT NOW. I haven't worked for almost 15 years as I stay home with the kids, schooling them and such. So now I am learning how to allow myself to be exhausted and not do anything no matter how "lazy" it may seem to someone else. It truly doesn't feel good at times, but I'm learning just how important it is no matter what.
((Hugs))
I am soooo excited for your "girl's lunch", even though I'm late. Ha Ha!! You've given me a really nice idea that I may implement this month. :) I hope everything went well and everyone was able to rest from life stuff as you catch up with one another. I now work some weekends, so when I'm off I just want to relax. lol My family and I usually go fishing early in the morning at a state park before the crowd comes, so it's extremely peaceful and serene. My husband and son usually fish, as my daughter and I walk around in nature taking pictures of God's creation, singing and chatting.
Lol!! Thanks 😊 It was refreshing and exactly what we all needed. Honestly, I haven't laughed so much in a while. That sounds like a wonderful time with your family, and I hear you. It can be difficult to do when life is busy and family time is limited, but I'd definitely encourage you to do it if you can ever find a bit of time. I need to try to do it more often, even if it's just every couple of months xxx
Eat natural (and eat meat sparingly), avoid vaccines, get lots of sunlight, avoid stress, and keep God's commandments (Exodus 15:26). This should go a long ways to improving your health.
Thank you, Mathew 😊 for sharing. That's great advice/wisdom, and I'm going to highlight that scripture in my bible as a daily reminder xxx
I love your headcovering perfectly matching your top!! Really cute❤ I know I'm late but we usually don't do much for Easter as we're seeking the Lord on what He desires for us to do on that day. However, the food your cooking sounds really good!! Lol
Hi there! Aww, thank you 😊 That sounds like a good plan, as it can definitely be a busy time, and it's easy to get distracted from what it's really about. The food was yummy, lol, and we ended up having my mother in- law over on the Sunday for dinner, so it was a lovely time xxx
I love it! Absolutely, we change because we want to change. It's just that simple!!! I'm not sure if you've ever considered going to therapy but it has truly helped me tremendously. In that space you can speak freely and allow yourself to feel all emotions necessary, connect dots that you didn't even know existed and begin a beautiful process of healing.❤
Thank you. Yes, I've thought about it off and on over the years and did have a little therapy when I was a kid, but it over the phone (my choice I think) but I found it weird/awkward so didn't bother to carry on. At the moment, our finances definitely wouldn't stretch. Throughout the years, though, I have had a lovely christian lady I can talk to and pray with when I need to xxx.
@@TheBlessedMum As long as you have someone to release to, is what's most important! When I did go, it was free for all patients of the specific doctors office. Otherwise, we would not have been able to afford it as well. The Lord will make a way as He does for all of our needs. I'll be praying for you :)
@Angela Wilson Thank you ❤🤗 Yes, I think that's what's been the issue for me. keeping it in, until it gets too much.
It's so nice seeing you again! Don't worry about not posting often. Take all of the time you need to get well :) Also, I am really interested in how the cassava wraps turned out. I am also gluten/ dairy/ meat free because of health stuff, so I know the struggle in finding something nice to eat. lol
Thank you! How are you doing? I'm sorry to hear that your dealing with health stuff also. Do you find that cutting out those things helps you? I've been making the wraps for a while now. I didn't like them at first lol, because cassava really is a unique flavour, my kids still complain that it stinks when I make them lol.. they turn out pretty good, although not always as pliable as I'd like, but then I looked at the recipe (haven't for a long while) and realised that I don't use 1 of the ingredients it suggested so that could be why ha. and I tend to add some flaxseed for fibre. I got the recipe from Downshiftology website, you could always then adapt it. I've heard good things about psyllium husk so hoping to try that in future too xxx
@@TheBlessedMum I'm doing well, thanks for asking! :) I have endometriosis and changing my diet has been life changing to say the least! My meals consist of many fruits, veggies, whole grains and egg. I have been vegan for more than 10 years but recently the Lord led me to eat egg. The only bread I eat are oat breads that I create and a health food store sells a flat bread made from cassava flour and other gluten-free flours that I've gotten before. I'm going to check out that recipe so that I'll have more bread options for any day, especially lazy ones. lol . I used to be in pain ALL DAY LONG but after making these adjustments as led by the Lord, there is no comparison, Praise God!!!!
@Angela Wilson Im glad that you're doing well 😊 I'm sorry to hear that, but I'm glad that God has led you to something that works for you! It can be difficult at times, though, especially when getting together with people or going out for a meal. I don't know if your on Facebook, but I follow a lady called Elavegan and she also has a recipe for flaxseed bread xxx
@@TheBlessedMum Ok great, I'll check her out. Thank you 💚
Aawww. You're so welcome 💕 I really look forward to getting to know each other more as we have sooo much in common. I am also a mom with homeschooling children, who's heard the Lord's heart in relation to modesty and head coverings and am on a journey of healing from much. 😊
Oh wow! I look forward to getting to know you better too xxx
Great reminder! It's soooo easy to fill out days with entertainment of many types and neglect our spiritual selves. This is one reason I am thankful that the Lord allowed for you to start this channel because as work is slow today, He led me here to fill myself with Him through your videos 💚
Aww, thank you for the encouragement xxx
@@TheBlessedMum Anytime 😊
Beautiful testimony!! Can I also ask if you make the covering that you have on and if so, how did you do it?
Hi Angela 😊 Thank you ❤ I don't make them myself. The one I have on here is just a slouch beanie that I bought off Amazon. I wear a hijab under scarf/hat (mainly to protect my hat and scarves from hair grease, but sometimes it will peek from under my hat. Just to change it up, abit/add colour. These are the easiest to wear when I am at home. In one of my other videos, I have a square scarf on, again that I purchased off amazon xxx
@@TheBlessedMum Perfect. Thank you 😊
Some of my hobbies are running, cooking new meals, singing praises to the Lord while walking in an open field, taking pictures of nature, and attempting to praise dance. Lol Hope that gives you some ideas! All of these activities are very calming to my spirit and further connect me with the Lord💚
Fantastic, and thank you for sharing. Loads of lovely ideas. I definitely need to get out in nature more. It is such a beautiful reminder of God the creator xxx
@@TheBlessedMum Yes, absolutely!
New subscriber! Take your time and enjoy the journey!!
Hi there! And thank you 😊
You're so brave xx I grew up in a church denomination that covered (and still covers) their hair for Church attendance- both married and single females- it was normal because they just simply applied the scripture and it was mandatory for attendance of that church denomination. I didn't even know that covering was normal and common place in the wider church until the 50s and 60s. I've now read about how this practice disappeared from the Church and it's eye opening and says a lot. I'll need to wear a covering over the next few months for a completely non-faith related reason, but it's re-sparked me researching into this topic.
Aww, thank you. It can be difficult, but I remind myself of why I do this this and also compared to what Jesus did for me. This is nothing in comparison. I'm also now a part of a community of people who feel the same. It's on social media, so it's not in person. But it's just great to have others who feel the same. Thanks for commenting, and hopefully, I'll see you here again and all the best with re-searching this topic again. There are some great talks by followers of the way, and David Bercot on here, as well as other ladies' testimonies, Leona xxx
Lovely video!
Aww, thank you! That's an encouragement for me, as I'm totally out of my comfort zone. I started TH-cam to get over my technology fears, but instead, I feel God is calling me to share, and I want to encourage people, so I am trying my best xxx
@@TheBlessedMum You are very well spoken and gentle. I think you will be a blessing to many!
