😀 Yeah of course, to be honest I was pretty much set on pulling the trigger on Lyft at this point anyway, lot of people saying since the last update it's pretty much the best one out there! I got a decent comp so it should run fine. I just got my first drone last week (avata 2) and my rc 3 fpv controller came today, I'm itching to go out with it but deep down I know I need to get some hours in on a sim before breaking my drone first 😂. @@billyraymyers1002 The thing with Liftoff is it has the DJI fpv drone so you can really dial in the rates to get a feel for the real thing. Just make sure that your fov is 142 and you camera angle in around 20° and upwards. Thats what really helped me through having my drone. A like for like comparison, whereas the other simulators don't have this drone and feel much lighter which kind of takes the learning curve away again. There twice as light and easy to throw around.

@@bibs998 don't get discouraged from buying a real drone, all you need is a great place to fly...... Then get that video edited to how you want it to look. Flying real life is something else,especially FPV style. A games a game...... But real life flying is a rush.

@@marvinspeedperformance4316 A Compatable controller can be a normal controller like a console controller. Only downfall to that is you can't adjust your throttle button to zero because the console joysticks return to center. On a drone controller we can adjust the spring inside the joystick making it stay down and not return back. This is the throttle side.

What controller are you using for this? I’ve tried a Steam controller and an Xbox style one and it was crazy hard to setup and use. Is it worth getting a proper controller for these?

@@Teckno77 I my personal opinion the only downsides to using a console controller is that the throttle stick stays in the center unless you manually pull it down to come off the throttle. This is the reason people like fpv controllers because they can release the spring mechanism in the controller so the left stick stays down and doesn't center itself. As long as you calibrate any controller first you shouldn't have any problems getting it working. You game should recognise what controller you are using, I calibrate in mode 2 Throttle and YAW should be on left side, YAW left and throttle down Pitch and roll should be on right side.,roll right and pitch down. Throttle on axis 2 which should be inverted with 0.0 deadzone Roll on axis 0 with deadzone 0.0 no invert YAW on axis 3 deadzone 0.0 no invert Pitch on axis 1 with invert deadzone 0.0 Remember throttle stick needs to be all the way down for zero throttle when in the game. If it centers your already half throttle so keep that in mind. Pull down to lay of the throttle. There is a setting that says throttle 0 at middle. This will help with standard controllers My other suggestion would be setting camera angle to at least minimum of 20 degrees and your fov to 142. Hope the info I have given helps you bud. @@Zimerste you can connect a basic gaming controller if you like. The drone controller you mention, does it have the left stick at the bottom of the controller or are both sticks centered in the middle.

Yes I always fly with thumbs. I actually modified my sticks into gaming thumb sticks, feels more natural to me.

TRYP drone simulator

The thing is if I pressed H to record, it's only a recording that only I can watch, there isn't a file I can use to share the footage which is a shame, so therefore I use my AMD ADRENALINE software to record while I play, I only have this TRYP and Liftoff, I like Liftoff because it has my drone that I fly with I.e DJI FPV, TRYP has custom quads which fly differently. You just have to get use to both and put the time in. Appreciate the comment.

I reckon I have a good 100 hours plus in the simulator, I started in Liftoff when I first purchased my DJI FPV so I could spend time learning and practising different rates as Liftoff has my drone model. Then once I locked the rates in I transfered them to this simulator.

@@uviolin593 I recommend them both tbh. It's all about visuals and bigger maps in TRYP though which I prefer.

Yes I can confirm this does work, I use the DJI FPV controller 2 in both sims, TRYP and Liftoff... As long as you calibrate the controller you'll be fine. You will need to invert (THROTTLE) on axis 2 and invert (PITCH) on axis 1, (ROLL) is axis 0 and (YAW) is axis 3 - Making sure to be in mode 2 in controller settings in TRYP. Hope this helps.

I imagine you can, but you won't have full control over throttle control as the left stick needs to be all the way down which cuts the throttle. Up is max throttle and as you can imagine the ps4 is centered by a spring meaning your already going half throttle already. You can fly with the controller, you just have to keep the left stick were you need it at all times.

I haven't noticed this on TRYP but one thing I have noticed this weird behaviour is in Liftoff, I have noticed if you throttle full power the drone literally just stalls and falls out the sky, not sure if this is a bug but it's rather annoying to have happen., I will take a look on TRYP and see if I get the same problems you are experiencing. ​@@ohhmanitscam

@@ohhmanitscam yer only in the sim, I had a go on TRYP to test your theory and I never once had any issues what so ever, my advice would be to re calibrate your controller as I must have played well over an hours worth and not 1 hiccup, switched bk to Liftoff again and it started cutting out full throttle straight away..... Not sure what they did but it's literally ruined the game for me.

Been flying now about 15 months

She certainly is heavy that's for certain but for me the speed is good enough as its my first fpv experience. lessons were learnt....I've crashed before hitting the crossbar of a goal. The exact one I went through first in the video at 50mph, the Battery fell out and i broke a landing gear but as I have the arm bracers installed I never broke any arms. It's certainly a good drone to learn on and that's what I like about it.

I remember starting liftoff early last year when I had just purchased my dji fpv, I spent a good 100 hours + learning as that simulator had my exact drone to practise rates on. I have roughly 10 hours in TRYP FPV using the same rates I used in liftoff, what I found with gaps is not to focus too much on the cross hair and try and see beyond it,when flying at angles from 20 degree all I do is make sure the cross hair is below the gap I'm going through, you need to remember that as your flying at an angle so is the cross hair....... it all comes with practice and you will understand what I mean, then it'll just click. Hope this info helps you somewhat bud.

For the cam chain tensioner you can just unscrew it and replace the chain if needs be, you only need a certain simple key if you are adjusting valve clearances. its just to take the tension of the cam chain so you can lock out the tensioner. hope this helps. apologies for the late reply, for some reason i never saw your comment come through.

I use my dji fpv v2 controller for the simulator, the same controller I use to fly my drone 😊

The settings I have for the game are as followed. Firstly you need to create a new profile for rates, you want the actual rate setting, once that is done try my settings. Center=120 Max =340 Expo= 0.6 Fov 142 20 degree angle. Use the up down left right on keyboard to adjust these settings. Hope this helps and let me know how those settings feel for you. All the best. Thanks man, I appreciate the comment. I'll gladly do more content like this. Its difficult showing how I do the moves. I would suggest watching my video again but take notes of my stick inputs and learn from them. You can't learn this stuff right away,it's taken me over a year to progress to where I am today. ​@@VersionForEnd Learn about throttle feathering if you haven't already, you can see FromTheGroundUp doing it literally constantly and it can help with the constant corrections needed to do gaps smoothly etc, and also doesnt impact camera orientation as much as pitch/roll/yawing will :D

Any reason for this, In all fairness my bike felt better with the valve and the airbox flapper still attached low down in the rpm and helped the bike pick up nice, its always felt flat below 3,000rpm now. mainly slow traffic filtering etc.

Buy a new cam chain bud, mine was stretched enough to not line up with the markings on the casing.
