Water vole trail camera footage
This summer 51 voles were released into the island ditches and the river alongside Crane Park Island nature reserve.
This was part of a two year project where 137 water voles were successfully released into Crane Park. The project was supported by funding from the Mayor of London, the Environment Agency and the Crane Valley Partnership via Thames Water, London Borough of Richmond upon Thames collaborated with Zoological Society of London (ZSL), Friends of River Crane Environment (FORCE), Crane Valley Partnership, the Environment Agency, London Wildlife Trust volunteers, the Conservation Volunteers (TCV) and Wild Futures.
