Junk, do not buy this gate

This gate is a piece of junk. Regret buying it.

Do NOT buy this gate if you love your child! One tiny bump and it comes unhooked and it scrolls back at a high speed! It can cause serious injuries to a child. If you look away for a moment and your child’s head goes underneath and it pops out of the hook (which it does very easily), and it snaps closed, it could easily cause a broken neck, cracked skull, or gouge an eye out. Mine is going back to the store! When I I bumped it and it snapped closed, it was powerful. It could have broken my finger. And, the locking wheel does not turn as easily as this video. I was trying to turn the wheel, thats when it snapped closed and I saw how dangerous it was. If your child gets wedged under the gate while it’s in the closed position, it can strangle your child’s neck. Let’s not wait until a child dies to not use this awful product!

Your product is falsely advertised as a”pressure mount, no drill” gate. But then you open it and it says it needs to be screwed into the wall.

Hi, I've just bought 1 of these safety gates but its slightly short for where i want to place it. By any chance are there any extra extenders that can be purchased to add on?

So this doesn’t work at all with a slat bed? Aka the majority of beds that exist?

Hey, I was just wondering does this type of gate adjust if that makes sense, my mum brought one that looks like this of Facebook market so we are a bit confused ahaha but she is certain the thing connecting the two gates can move but I don’t see that happening hope u can get back to me

Does this gate have to be installed straight across from brackets? I want to use this on the front door to keep dog from running out. Retractable part will be around corner from door a bit and attach the hooks to the door. It will be a sligbt curve. Will it still work?

Pro tip: if you don't want it "babyproofed", just stick some toothpicks in the lock at the top and then add a couple drops of super glue. Permanently "unlocked".

What u Ave somehow created is heap of garbage ...crazy

Put two of these up on my deck to keep our 3 dogs and grands from escaping or falling down the steps. Installation was quite easy using the screw templates. Only concern would be the amount of force allowable by either dogs or children grabbing the top and making it sag over time or in one hard tug. We shall see how they hold up. Much better than having a fixed hard-gate though.

Now how do I remove the adhesive pads without ripping out my paint?

What a great installation video very informative. Glad it comes with a installation manual that actually tells you how to install the product and not advertise it.

The hinges do not lift smoothly. The metal donuts scrape on the plastic hinge axle. Pity could be a good design with some minor improvements.

Is there a function to lock the panels do they don’t move around when used as a barrier between rooms?

These instructions are wrong. You cannot do what it says at 2.23 because it shows lifting the barrier up into the fixed wall bracket because the barrier is level with the floor and therefore cannot be under the bracket to be raised up into the bracket. I have fixed this barrier and you can tilt the barrier and force it into the bracket but it is near impossible to remove it the same way. The bracket has to be unscrewed from the wall. If you want to have an easily removable barrier you need to find another way of fixing it.

My toddler leans in on the right spot and the gate unhook so easily and snaps bad. Terrible design

No. The tube won't insert up underneath the lower bracket that you have screwed into the wall (as shown at 1:58), there is a floor in the way, and the bracket doesn't twist to allow you to slide the rod in. I don't see how you attach these panels to the wall. It would be easier if they were designed that you could screw them into the wall without having to disassemble the connector rod
