@@HelloCark92 well I'm certain you got the trap basics down, so I'll skip that. 1. If someone is trying to get someone out of a trap by spamming E near them, you should always hit them at least once. Anytime you have someone trapped and need to micromanage a bunch of people, you should never get too far away as sticking to repeatedly placing traps on the trapped person while I am hitting everyone else to make them flee works relatively consistently. 2. You might already know this, but I recommend using too slow if your stamina is out. I also recommend baiting the survivor to stop running by walking at about 30-40 stamina which makes them think you are out of stamina. 3. A bit of a more basic one but I recommend not just placing traps on doorways, but I also recommend placing them near corners where people quickly turn down the hall to surprise them. I also recommend placing traps right on objectives to where people are forced to stand there and get rid of your trap which takes a lengthy amount of time. As an example, on Forest, placing traps right next to torches can easily bait people due to how dark the map is. 4. I see a lot of EXE's place a bunch of traps near one area which is simply not how traps should be used imo. From experience, I have lost many times by not properly spreading out my traps across the map. On maps like Dungeon, this needs to be mastered- or at least- practiced the most. Just like Inkfell's portals, EXE's traps should be spread out across the map as to have good map coverage with your traps. 5. This goes for most monsters, but PLEASE do not chase someone for a million years. I promise you will not be able to catch a competent survivor. Similar to how someone should play Rosemary, if someone goes around a corner I always recommend trying to go around as a last resort to cut them off then use Too Slow to catch them off-guard. 6. A lot of people forget that when someone is hit with Too Slow, EXE gains stamina during the bite animation while the survivor does not, similar to Nilo's Godly Leap. This is why hitting someone with Too Slow that you KNOW is low on stamina will most of the time secure an easy kill. Also, killing someone with Too Slow is a great option, too, as the bite animation and the mouth-wipe are just a tad bit shorter than his normal kill anim from what I can recall. 7. If it's the last survivor, you can place a bunch of traps on them to get 40 XP per trap which just barely leveled me from 60-61 if I remember correctly. EXE takes more skill than some of the monsters, so don't be surprised if some of the tactics mentioned here come with practice. hope this yapping session wasn't a bit too much to read, but feel free to copy + paste into a note or something for future reference :) (no plagiarism ofc, tho i wouldn't expect you to do that)

If someone is trapped and you need to micromanage a bunch of people in a room, I recommend hitting everyone at least once to make them flee while you keep repeatedly placing traps on the trapped person. This can be a bit situational, but it's happened to me many times on my way to diamond, so I recommend practicing this in throwaway lobbies or something. 2. If your stamina is out, use Too Slow. Using Too Slow stops stamina regeneration but still closes the gap between you and the survivor by a small margin. If Too Slow is hit, EXE gains stamina during the bite and mouth-wipe animation but the survivor does not. There's been many times where my victim was just out of reach, then using Too Slow allowed me to get a hold of them and secure a kill. 3. I recommend not just placing traps in doorways and such, I also recommend placing traps around tight corners like on Fazbear's Fright/FNaF 3 Map as an example. Doing this will get rid of people who take corners sharply but know how to remove traps, surprising them and being able to kill them. 4. You may already know this, but when someone is trapped, don't go back for them. Instead, use the speed boost to catch the person you are currently trying to chase and don't worry about going back and replacing the trap- as that just wastes time, especially on maps like Oni's Mansion and Dungeon (the one with the papers and chests). 5. While this tip might collide with the 2nd one, please do not chase someone for a million years. I've learned from experience that chasing someone for too long drains the clock like nothing else. If someone is out of your reach, a lot of times you'll be able to turn around and cut them off somewhere. If not, move on to someone else. 6. This is more of an opinionated one but 2017x genuinely slows me down when I play him. He barely lifts his legs compared to EXE's jog. Because of that, I feel as though I go faster when playing as any skin besides 2017x. Also, 2017x's voice lines are extremely loud and give away your location. The skin is great, in fact my 2nd favorite ancient skin (behind BX for MX), but it very much wears you down imo. 7. I see a lot of EXE users place multiple traps in one area- typically where they start. This is not how traps should be used. Similar to Inkfell's portals, traps should be spread far apart across the map as to have good map coverage with traps. This isn't exactly mandatory, but it will help against competent/experienced survivors who know how to conserve stamina. 8. da final one This one is the most basic, but I HEAVILY recommend placing traps on objectives. Placing traps near torches on the Forest Map and beneath the vents on Pillars Map are great examples. However, this trap strategy can be done on ANY map. These tips will come with practice... A LOT OF PRACTICE. But, if you are willing to put in the time and effort to get good at EXE, he is a solid high A tier for me. EXE takes a lot of focus and strategy, but the way I see you playing him makes me think you could get really good at him very fast. You seem to be good with most of the tips- specifically the trap-related ones. Good luck on gold!!!! goodbye ✍
