Polaris - Belated LP (1998)
มุมมอง 6K8 ปีที่แล้ว
First LP from Leeds, UK emo/math rock/post-hardcore band Polaris. Released 1998 on Common Cause Records. Killer guitar playing on this record, a lot of smooth time changes and constantly changing dynamics. Guitar stays clean through the whole record but the sparse harsh vocal parts give certain parts a bit of intensity. All of these songs have great dynamics: great build ups and abrupt changes ...

Balada core
It was always the drummer that I found the most impressive. Insane timing, fills and kick drums action. Great album
Neil Turpin is the man! I read in an interview that Baby Harp Seal and Polaris were the first bands he played in too, which is pretty rad considering the stuff he was playing at that age. Such a tasteful drummer; busy, technical, and king of the shimmering roll.
Yay!!!
this edit is not ass
sooo sick
Is that the legitimate one? Because a group of friends and I went to it last night, but we went across the street, we actually parked behind one of the buildings that you guys walked past. The ones we went to had three buildings that were pretty much destroyed and it was pretty sketchy. So were the ones we were at apart of it? Or just some random buildings?
The place is pretty big if I remember correctly, so we didn't have time to cover all of it but the buildings you saw were most likely part of it. I vaguely remember a part of the asylum that was across the street, but I've never explored in there.
You guys were in the old buildings that were there before they put up the newer buildings across the street.
