HI! I'm Tricia and I teach Integrated Basic Education and Skills Training (I-BEST) in a college welding program. I also teach Transitions Math for students interested in passing the Math GED test, earning High School math credit, or brushing up on math skills to improve their scores on the college placement test. I created these videos to help my students learn about and use math.

Thanks for sharing. I am doing my GED Math in July and was not sure how to use my calculator.
Thank you so much your explanation was amazing
Thank you 🙏🏾
Used this calculator before
Thank you
If it is PEMDAS then the last two operations are Addition and then Subtraction yielding an answer of 40 rather than 70.
THANK YOU IT HLPED ME SO MUCH
Hello, Tricia Thank you for explaining so well the exponents and roots. I was so lost. The 2nd button is so clear now. lol.... I'm wondering do you have any other videos that explain all these other function on the green side? (sin-1, tan-1 , angle.) The subtraction & addition button has half-moon on the green side, what in the world? is that Pie? I'm just learning how to use this fancy calculator. Sorry if these are dummy questions.
I'm glad you found the video helpful! I do not have other videos regarding the calculator. The sin-1, cos-1, and tan-1 is used to find a missing angle of a right triangle (inverse trigonometry). I suggest looking up the manual for the calculator to learn about all of the functions.
No shortcut.
love !
What shortcut? I don't see any?
A = sq rt of C^2 - B^2 etc. The short cuts are written on the page at the start of the video.
thank you miss :)
This really helped thank you, thank you so much!!! Can you do more please??
My teacher was punishing us so he gave us these sums and you where such an 👼🥰🥰❤️
Thankss
Lol, you studying for Algbera 1 as well?
Muchas grasias 🙏🏼
Thanks 🙏🏼

I am going to piss off a lot of people with what I am going to say. All 4 of these exams are total bull shit. Tell me, what average person can pass the math test? Not me. These exams are set up for college-ready people who already have basic knowledge of all of this crap. You need a college degree to even get a GED this way.
Thanks
This video was really helpful, thank you! Love from India :)
THANK YOU SO MUCH, so underrated!!
Please do more thanks you are a great teacher
Thank you for this video

Thank you !!!!!
She explained better than my teacher! God bless, imma subscribe 🤗
Thnks helpful
Thank you so much for your clear instructions!
thank you
Thank you so much
Nice teaching Method....Do you have more Geometry Samples?
Learning.👍
Thanks! My teacher isnt teaching us concepts just giving us homework so this helped out a lot!
How to find of square
Thank you, that helps a lot.
This really helped thanks
I gave up on trying to get a ged a long time ago
Thank you!
Thanks for your great video and for your halp thank you
How are you changing the 8 by the 20
Do you have other GED math videos?
All of my videos from Trans Math I and Trans Math II support students who are preparing for the GED test.

Great teacher.
Thank you. Your a great teacher.
Thank you! I'm glad you found it helpful. :)
I really enjoy your videos please do more.
thank you so much... I needed this!
i thought i was gonna figure out how in this video
Hello, great video. 2 questions please? 1) How did you come up with the actual measurements ? 2) What if I have to 90 degree bends, like a U-Shaped? Can you go over the calculations please
Hello Yaser, Use a combination square to measure the distance between the end and the outside of the bend. I'm sorry I won't be making more videos on applied welding math. I'm no longer teaching in this program. However, if you had a U shape made of two 90 degree bends, the change or difference between the actual and the theoretical will affect both bends and adjustments should be made accordingly.
Best explanation ever thanks
